The Peppered Cupcake

So disappointed this is a vending machine now. We got three different cupcakes and all three were dry, and the frosted was hard.

Good selection and have not eaten the cupcake yet. But...the service was beyond rude and inappropriate. Acted annoyed when we asked about the flavors and when I asked her to please cut my cupcake into 4’s to divide it she rolled her eyes and said “it will just fall apart.” I will not be returning or using this company again nor can I recommend it to anyone when one when a paying customer is treated such as this.

This little bakery was amazing! The cupcakes are light, fluffy and the inside was perfect! We got 4 and wanted to go back the next day but ran out of time! I would definitely recommend the chocolate! It was really good! Thank you for an awesome cupcake experience!!

Super nice little gourmet cupcake shop in the heart of historic Wilmington NC. The owner/ operator was super friendly and helpful. The cupcakes were incredible best I have ever had. I will be going back to this wonderful quaint shop time and time again. Little tip if you go everybody get something different and share great sampler for the whole family.

Very light cupcakes of many flavors. Somewhat questionable storage methods as there didn't appear to be refrigeration for some frostings that might need it. But they taste good and aren't overly sweet or filling. Other tasty sweets are sold here.

The cupcakes are fantastic, can't even describe... but the atmosphere at the Front Street shop today threw me for a loop. I did not expect a monologue from the radio spewing conspiracy theories. Music would have been more appropriate. They were talking about how the UN is committing genocide and forced sterilization while a small child was present. Not cool, Peppered Cupcake.

Amazing cupcakes! Never fails to disappoint. We love to stop in and grab a cupcake for a quick dessert. Susie is usually the one behind the counter that helps us out and she is always super friendly, knowledgeable and fast. Adds a touch to downtown Wilmington. They also offer large custom orders for pickup! Recommend TPC for sure! My fav is the cookie butter!

We stumbled upon this place on our walk back to the hotel. BEST thing to happen to us all day! Since I consider myself a cupcake “snob,” I’ll just say this...these were possibly the best cupcakes I’ve ever had! I’m truly humbled, but SAD they don’t have a location in Nashville, TN! Try the banana pudding and the black velvet; they are perfection! Way to go, Peppered Cupcake! You’ve raised the bar for sure!

Great cupcakes! The spicy/savory flavors are an interesting twist. They are not too expensive as far as cupcakes shops go. The owners are nice and friendly.
There is very limited seating.
