Just discovered this really cool little (and it is little) coffee shop in Wake Forest. Since it's really a Coffee Rosters place, most of the shop is set up for that BUT that also means they have A LOT of cool coffees to chose from. Fantastic pour-over and some tasty muffins. A tad pricey, but a cool coffee shop.

I have done business with many roasters across the U.S. and B & W is consistently at the top of my list. They do a marvelous job in bringing rare and incredibly refined coffees from all over the world to market. Everyone has a different taste but their selection very seldom misses the target for taste, roast quality and service. Their communication is the best I have ever experienced. Their responses are always quick and have an instant and sensible response. They are real pros. They treat customers they way they want to be treated. I tip my hat to them and look forward to many more years as a customer.

Have been waiting to come to this spot for a while! I currently live in Charlotte, and my experience did not disappoint upon arriving to this location. Nathan and Tia are such a joy. Their warming personalities truly made my experience memorable and I look forward to seeing them again when I come back. You can see on their faces how much they enjoy what they do. Thank you both for making me feel special!

The coffee is amazing! The staff are so kind and warm. This place is a great find. There is a good deal of seating inside for those that may want to bring their computers and do some work. There is seating outside as well. I highly recommend!

Great product — almost everything here is coffee of the fruity variety. (But that’s because coffee beans are from berries.)

Black and White coffee is basically that moment in Power Rangers when the individual rangers come together to form Megazord. (Or, if you like, that moment Lebron went to the Miami to from the Big 3). Kyle and Lem are both Barista World Champions who came together to make some of the best coffee in area. It's campion level coffee from people who won't be snobs about it to everyone who comes in. (But, if you want to geek out on taste notes, they'll be happy to oblige)

The space is small, but they are working to expand and remodel from the previous look when it was Back Alley Roasters.

Baked goods selection is usually limited, but what they do have is still strong (pun intended).

Tip: If the Berriti coffee is in season, get that. Also, word is they have an instant coffee packet coming that is changing the game (Use it for camping or keep it in your bag in case of a coffee-emergency )

The coffee here is absolutely amazing. However, I always feel out of place and unwanted when I go. I rarely get a hello and never get so much as a head nod when I say thank you. One of my favorite things about local coffee shops is the community it brings! I look forward to seeing the ways black and white will continue to grow.

I go here every so often as a treat with my fiancé. We absolutely love their coffee! Our favorite thing to get is a cappuccino but their oat milk lattes are really good and creamy. They offer a wide variety of fresh beans to purchase, have merchandise, and a cooler of other beverages. Can’t wait to go back soon!

Coffee was decent. Barista spent more time drawing on the cup than making the tea part of my order. Nice touch to decorate, but maybe have the tea steeping while doing it so you don’t have to wait as long?
Don’t think I’ll be back.
