Thornwell Books

This is a wonderful addition to Morganton. They have a great selection of books. It is very welcoming with the aroma of fresh coffee and comfy sofas and chairs. The owners and staff are helpful and friendly. Love it!

I adore this place. Always friendly faces, wonderful snacks and coffee and such a feeling of comfort amoung the wonderful books.

The selection is limited by space but well curated; Thornwell shines as the atmosphere for reading or quiet workspace, and of course there are available refreshments at the coffee bar.

Such a gem of a store for Morganton, NC. This place is like somewhere you would see in a movie. The book selection is awesome, the coffee if great and prices arent bad. I'm really proud to have Thornwell Books in our town. ❤

I was in town getting my bike serviced and came over here to knock out some work and get coffee. The shop is so nice and quaint and the latte I had was REALLY good. Highly recommended!

Fantastic book store and coffee house with an upscale decor in the midst of cozy downtown Morganton. Great coffee and scones. A must stop if you are in the area.

Wonderful and welcomed addition to the downtown Morganton business community. Worth stopping in even just to browse the book selection and get a good cup of coffee and a pastry.

No real chia tea, food items a little pricey for potion size. Nice ambiance. Overall, great place for a cup of joe & reading a book. Broad selection of books.
