Very friendly service and the best coffee drinks in town. Breakfast is fast, good and original. Try their nutrition blend or a cafe mocha for an afternoon pick-me-up. Plenty of healthy options at Lunch.

Coffee didn't have much flavor and burritos were good but small.. $26.00 for 2 latte's and 2 burritos.. I try to use local businesses but I'll be checking out another place..

Delicious food, great atmosphere but the portions are small. We had the breakfast burrito and the veg omelet. They were small plate size.

Stopped by swinging through town and the staff were exceptionally friendly. Had the Pig in the Grass and the ratio of meat to bread was perfect. None of that 90% bread and 10% meat. Also serving great coffee!

Why we keep coming back I’m not sure…perhaps thinking we caught them at a bad time? But no we are convinced the staff is unorganized, always running out of items, do not adhere to the hours posted, food is mediocre. We are truly disappointed because it used to be good. Will mot return.

A great spot to mingle with locals and relax. Their food menu is fresh, delicious, and affordable...with ever-changing daily specials. Their coffee and tea selections are superb, of course, and they even have live music on the weekends. A Morganton staple that can't be missed.

The egg rounds are delicious but they don't always get my caramel sauce Breve correct. Prices seem high for what you get, but usual for coffee houses. Since it is one of the few places I can get a caramel sauce Breve(that isn't Starbucks), it is so worth it!

Update: coffee is still good, but our service was even worse this time. It took 43 minutes to get my egg rounds (still taste delicious) with dry toast and my son's ham and cheese bagel (very light on the ham...only one or two thin slices). A party of 6 who came in about 10 minutes after us was served their food before us. Halfway through our meal I noticed another customer who ordered the same thing I did...at least he got butter for his toast.

Perfection is what the grind has accomplished. Warm trendy cafe with above standard quality lunch options. The coffee is top notch and the vibe of this historical building welcomes you to pause and enjoy the moment. Looking forward to attending a live music event.

Eagerly waiting to go here bc I live a couple of counties away. Finally made it couple months later and the blonde cashier working at 3:41pm on June 5, 2020 sucked the life right out of the experience. It wasn't even a big deal that lunch stopped serving at 3pm. She never offered anything else the establishment had to offer and rolled her eyes. If she didnt want to serve us, she made it clear. Friendly tip, be careful who is the on the front face of your establishment, businesses need customers with positive experiences to survive. I left empty handed with a negative impression. I will NEVER plan with family over a couple months to drive a few counties over to visit this establishment again.

I'm able to walk to this wonderful local spot from my house. I've never had a bad meal. Staff are friendly, food is tasty and they've always got an interesting special. Happy to support this local business.
