Grind Cafe

Came to this establishment looking for a good cup of coffee and was completely disgusted by the lack of regulations that are mandated STATE WIDE due to the ongoing pandemic. Wearing masks is the LEAST we can do during this time, yet this place seems to have zero concern for the well-being of their employees and their customers. Will not be returning here.

Cozy environment, friendly staff, amazing coffee and sandwiches, and fast wifi. What more could you ask for in a coffee shop?

Super friendly staff, pretty chill atmosphere and the food is delish! Their smoothies are also amazing! Can’t wait to come back and try more of their menu soon!

Grind Cafe is a wonderful local coffee shop. Both the coffee and food are delicious and the staff is always kind and helpful. Definitely one of my top choices for local coffee/food in Morganton!

GREAT coffee and food. A super chill place to relax or meet a friend. Plus special events upstairs make this a staple of downtown.

I won't be returning!! The coffee is good but the food is mediocre, overpriced, and the blonde manager is so rude I left in shock. They are not enforcing the masking mandate which is illegal statewide, and we nicely asked the girl working the register to put a mask on (it's the law!! And a simple request!). She shook her head and didn't say anything, but the manager turned around and said if we have a problem with her choice we should leave. So we left and won't be going back- whether or not you care about wearing masks the manager was so so rude and I don't think I've ever had a worse experience at a restaurant.

Super patient people. It was my first time and they helped me find what I wanted and made an amazing sandwich. All in all I highly recommend stopping by if your passing threw like I was.

Not a bad place for a good coffee and love that they're in Morganton. I didn't eat anything while there, so I cannot fairly comment on the food. However when I left, my clothes and I reeked of a food odor. Wish they could cook with something different or ventilate the room better.

Fantastic! Love the atmosphere! The staff was very polite and accommodating! The food was excellent and a perfect Breve'! We look to move to the area in about 4 years and look forward to frequenting this Cafe often when we do.
