Grind Cafe is Locally Owned and Operated the staff are friendly and prompt the coffee is good but strong. Go on saturday the biscuits and gravy are my favorite get em fully loaded for best effect.

I enjoy the environment, lovely exposed brick with historical wainscoting that has a dark wooden finish. I imagine the ceiling also dates to the original early 1900s construction.

The sandwich size was a bit underproportioned for the price, but it was pretty tasty, nonetheless.

Nice folks, variety of seating and great breakfast burritos!

I love the atmosphere and quality of food and drinks here, but when I went yesterday they were not enforcing the mask mandate for customers or employees. I personally think employees at least should have been wearing masks. As much as I love this place, I will be waiting until COVID is over before returning. I personally think it's too small a place for no masks and that just makes me uncomfortable. Can't wait to go back when everything calms down! 😁

Came from 30 minutes west away for breakfast on a Monday morning at 11:15. Website said 12 PM cut off for breakfast but we were told that it was 11 when we went in to place our order. Please update your website or serve breakfast til noon!

Grind Cafe is an above average coffee shop in that the grab and go snacks, and the food menu is great, the staff is wonderful and welcoming, and The atmosphere is very warm and cozy. The coffee drinks are plentiful, though my only concern is the espresso drinks are not as consistent as I'd like, and are often way above temperature. Milk occasionally burnt. But they are still good and I highly recommend. Infinitely better than Starbucks, and probably the best in Morganton.

I shared a sandwich with my wife. It was very good and portions are generous. As a French,I know what I am talking about breads...

By the way don't read previous comments about the fact they don't respect covid. They do wear a mask and the outside tables are 15feet distance...

Thank you for your time.
