Super chill cafe in the heart of downtown Marshall. Art covers the space, folks were enjoying their coffees like it was a Saturday morning routine, and they were playing Bob Marley when I walked in.
I got the bagel with cream cheese, bacon, and tomato. The bagel was a bagel from a bag, Lender's style, so not artisan by any means, but it was fine. The cream cheese, bacon, and tomato all went together well. My oat milk latte was tasty. The prices were right, in and out including tip for about $10.
The staff was super friendly and the girl at the counter asked how to spell my name to make sure she wrote it down right. I liked the vibe of the place while I waited for my order, I could easily see losing a few hours in a book here.

When we are in Marshall my husband and I go to Zuma I guess like many people, because is the only place in town to have good coffee, but the truth is that the place is not great, the furniture they have is extremely old, the colors don’t match, and the seats are very dirty.
They could make improvements, buying new chairs and tables, having a better decor, making a nice cozy place.

Madison County's top coffee shop also serves a delicious and wide ranging food menu. Cafe-style eats, including baked goods, breakfast food, bagels, sandwiches, soups, salads, etc. They serve delicious and locally roasted counter-culture coffee. Nice mellow atmosphere inside and fun location in "downtown" Marshall and right beside the French Broad River. Live bluegrass jam every Thursday night. Highly recommend!

First time in Marshall. I discorverd it on airbnb because we found a treetop Tipi and figured it would be cool to "camp in style". The town of marshal is overall friendly and home feeling. Zuma was great! I would love to visit again

I love this place.
We are locals and this is just the coolest place. The staff is super chill but friendly. The food is awesome, seriously. The bacon, egg and cheese on gluten free bread is amazing. Idc how you make something so simple so good but it really is. The blt is awesome too.

I love the food but the mobile ordering is so bad. Every time I try to order online, I'm always waiting 20 more minutes for my food or drink to be made because someone forgot to do something. i enjoy the place and really want to like it, but I feel like I'm aways leaving frustrated.

This was our 2nd visit to Zuma Coffee within a weeks time. When nearly a year ago a co-worker told me that a Grammey award winner Blue Grass singer and fidle player from Bill Monroe's band played there Thursday nights. Bobby Hicks is his name and sure enough he is still at it at 83 or so and it is great. Staff there are very good a great team, the Zuma Coffee shop owner is just as friendly and greets guest coming and going. Food is great and priced right. Only I wish there was a no limit refill on the coffee, you're allowed one. If you like to dance to great music by very well talented muscians and eat great food. Meet nice friendly home town people then you don't want to miss Zuma Coffee in Marshall.
