Such a neat little place for coffee. The food is good too. The atmosphere is great. A very unique place.

Fast, funky, entertaining. Everywhere I looked there was something to see. Nice people, great coffee! Even had something for our grandson.

Very nice atmosphere. It reminds me when I worked at the music library during my college years. Great staff, great food, and little time to wait. Love this place!

The coffee was great, that's not the reason for my 1 star. The breakfast was terrible. My husband and I came here all the time for breakfast for over 2 years. Our recent visit was awful. My omelette was way smaller than it used to be, and the vegetables inside of it were raw. Not even cooked in the slightest. My husband's breakfast burrito was smaller than it used to be as well. They also used to give you fruit on the side. Not anymore, I got 4 blueberries and my husband had nothing. We left still hungry and out $20. Very disappointed.

Love their lattes and frappes!!!! They have awesome bagels and avacado toast.

The place is so beautiful and lovely. The worker was really nice. The coffee is wonderful will recommend and will come back.

This is the first time we have been back since the new manager took over and we won't be going back. We both got the roast beef on ciabatta and it was horrible. The roast beef was dry and very salty. It's too bad because they used to have really good food.

I have always loved coming here! This is exactly what downtown Madison needed, a great coffee shop! I first came in 3 years ago with my sister, for my birthday. I love to stop in every chance I get. Plus they serve great craft beer! How can you go wrong?! Kudos to the mad bean! Love them and recommend them to everyone!

Fantastic atmosphere, the staff really get to know their customers. Lots of great events from trivia to open mic nights. A diverse and delicious menu that doesn't break the bank. Serves all local NC brews and wine. Would absolutely recommend this establishment to any local in Madison and any person traveling nearby. You will fall in love with the place!

Very cute little spot! There are SO many interesting coffee and tea options, I was shocked! The food is great, too. They have soups, salads, sandwiches, etc. I love how the place is decorated, with books all around, very comfy feel.
