My experience wasn't a bad one. Therefore it could've been better but all in all my only complaint was there were no broad menus of all they have. Not a big deal. I like the atmosphere, very quiet

Amazing coffee with a large selection!!! By far the absolute best coffee shop in Lexington! Highly recommend anyone that loves coffee to try black chicken coffee. I promise you will not regret it!

Owners are super great! They live above the shop! Staff is friendly & fast. A wide variety of drinks to chose from. They even have food in a cooler from another local company.

Go to if you're in Lexington. Its a great coffee shop inside a historic home. Lots of seating and plenty of fun things to buy if you're looking for something local as well.

The Chicken is one of our regular spots in Lexington. Great staff and truly stellar coffee. I recommend the Snow Cream.

A funny little place, not exceedingly cute or cozy, but with the most exceptional coffee menu in the state! So many delicious options! Loved it!
