Best coffee place ever! My husband hates coffee but this is the only place where he'll drink coffee from because it doesn't leave a nasty after taste. Customer service is excellent 🙂

I really enjoyed this place. Very homey. I ordered a coffee with Irish cream for the first time & didn't like the taste of the cream. They made me another kind of coffee. That was great customer service!

Black Chicken will have you hooked the second you walk in with that aroma. Oh my goodness. The smell of coffee beans always makes me feel at home. I try to get a different type of drink every time I go. I'm hooked on their cold brew. With bigger coffee chains coming to the area, it is SO important to support your local businesses if you want to keep them around. The staff is always so nice and willing to help with any questions you have. For sure worth trying if you haven't dropped by before.

I buy coffee in the one pound bag. The thing that keeps the bag shut doesn't fall off. Little things.

This place is THE local place to get great coffee with a wonderful easy going atmosphere. They’ve created a huge menu of delicious coffee drinks. There is something for everyone’s taste. The owners and staff are welcoming to everyone and all are super nice!

You absolutely must stop here when you're in Lexington!! The owners and baristas are just wonderful. I love the atmosphere and all the rooms of their lovely coffee shop. I know they have selflessly put in tons of thought and time into making their place somewhere people can go to relax, enjoy excellent coffee and desserts, spend time with friends, and just be still for a moment in our busy world. It is definitely one of my favorite retreat spots anytime we are in Lexington. I also want to say thank you to them for their many generous donations to Lexington Youth Theatre's silent auctions and events. They are truly giving and wonderful!! Love you guys, ML

First of all, this pumpkin coffee was one of the absolute one pumpkin coffees I’ve ever had!! I love how customizable the coffees are. I couldn’t decide between pumpkin pie and pumpkin spice so the lady working said I could get a mix of both with the white chocolate. It was amazing! 😍 it was a very neat place and I look forward to going back when I’m in Lexington again!
