Absolutely lovely staff, this is a wonderful place for lunch or brunch, a definite must stop when touring along Old Winston Salem. I would also recommend this place to all the college students across the street. It's a lovely place to study or finish papers.

The Flour Box Tea Room provides everything one would want in a tea experience. Their staff is very knowledgeable about the different kinds of tea, the food is AMAZING, and the atmosphere is beautiful. It is also family owned!!

So so cute! Friendly staff and good menu. You do have to call ahead to reserve a tea meal (cream tea, afternoon tea, etc) which I definitely plan on doing next time. This time I had some kind of berry tea and it was wonderfully flavored!

The outdoor patio is nice in summer. They sometimes have free music. The inside is small but the menu and food are decent. What seems strange to me is that if you sit outside, you have to go inside to order. No one waits on you outside.

In a class of it's own. Delicious food and service with a hometown feel. Had me reminiscing about family members who have since passed. Wiped away a tear and sat up straight and for just a moment it was nice to be dignified once more.

Nice quaint place to eat. Food was great and the service was excellent. They made some adjustments to our food at our request, to make it even tastier than what was listed on the menu. Highly recommend this place for a quick bite to eat.

What a cool little place!! We had a great sandwich of melted brie, apples, and walnuts, along with some wonderful potato salad. Fantastic tea and coffee also, as well as great service.

I want to comment on a review posted on Saturday. I was in the Flourbox at that time and noticed the people behind us we got some drinks. When the cashier was finished with us she immediately said how can I help you this morning. The women seemed to want something that wasn’t available at the time but the girl did offer them some scones and drink nd explained that the full menu wasn’t available until 11. She was not mean or ugly about it just explained what was available at that time of the morning. Don’t give a mean nasty review just because you were mad about not getting what you want. I am in there every Saturday and love this place so please don’t take it out on others when you aren’t accompdated.

Lovely space, English atmosphere, with small meals and teas that are available in an approachable variety with descriptions of each for the less knowledgeable. The food is appropriate for a tea, not a large meal. This is not meant to imply it's not filing, but it is portioned for a "tea", not dinner.
