City Café

All the ladies in there are very nice! The food is always good! It's definitely one of those places you sit down you talk to the people in the booth next to you the all talk to you. I highly suggest you stop in and see them!

I really enjoy this place. It has really good food, friendly faces/service and... Well did I mention the good food?! It's been hard finding places we like to eat around here (moved from a really big city) but this is one that definitely fits the bill. The biscuits alone are worth coming in for!

We have been coming to City Café for breakfast for three years. We love the small town atmosphere and the courteous/friendly staff. Very family friendly!
This restaurant is visited mainly by locals. The food for breakfast is very good at a reasonable price.

This place was excellent. We forgot to order toast without butter and they were very nice about making another order. The staff was nice and the only place ive seen the owner working the register in years. Felt like home with nice portion meals

Their service, food, cleaning, and price are so good that I took them some flowers-to say thank you. If you eat here, ONCE you WILL come back again!! My misses and I go there every time we travel to Wilmington.

If I could give more stars, I would! These folks were as friendly, welcoming and home town as they come! Food was great and so was the service. Had mechanical issues with our truck and went here while it was being worked on. I would highly recommend them anytime!

Great local, casual southern food place. We went for breakfast and it was busy but still got seated fast with 5 people. Excellent pancakes and waffles. Fast and friendly service.

Food and staff is good and welcoming and it’s clean. The inside just really isn’t welcoming on its own or comfortable. I would come here more if I enjoyed the atmosphere. Nice art and different paint and better lighting would really help so much on the overall experience.

What a wonderful place to have breakfast every morning. Everyone is so pleasant, so helpful and so accommodating. Every year when we come down to Surf City, NC for vacation, we come back to City Cafe and love it. All the waitresses are very pleasant (especially Deanna). They all work together to make it an enjoyable experience. The food is delicious and the grilled biscuits are the very best.
