This is a great local coffee shop. The place itself has creative and fun decor, and the staff are all wonderfully friendly. Most importantly, though, the coffee is delicious.

Since the coffee machines have been turned around for the customers to pour them; the coffee shop atmosphere has Trendle downward. The people working there take your money and go sit down at a chair looking out the window and playing on the phones. And why is the creamer out for every guest to touch when we’re supposed to be going through a pandemic that is airborne which means person-to-person contact will transmit.

Such a rich smooth flavor. Love that Winter Wonderland and Snickerdoodle

Bohemian feel. Shares space with a yoga business. Parking limited in front, so easiest to park on side in gravel lot. Has organic muffins, other bakery items that are good. Guy, who's been there serving (maybe owner?) each of the times I've been there, can have a gruff, condescending, sarcastic manner that is off-putting if you aren't prepared for it. But regulars seem to like him. Probably best for high school and college age group. Drinks have been ok. Liked the chai latte with espresso drink.

You may think places like this don't exist any more - I know I did. I went to DeBeen with some friends to enjoy some drinks and play a board game (one we brought, in case that would mislead anyone).
During the visit it was clear the man at the counter knew the customers on a personal basis more often than not, and it seemed like refills/loyalty tracking were often handled through trust. The drip selection offered delicious blends. I had the unburned Seattle and was not even charged (I checked, it was deliberate!) when I "ordered" the Mexican Chiapas next. Friendly, respectful service, and dense, hearty almond and chocolate chip muffin went with the coffee. A comfortable atmosphere, and an extremely rare level of individual care and kindness.

Great space to meet friends, chat, and have a drink and light snack. They usually have a couple flavors of gelato asking with baked goods. These pair well with the coffee, tea, and hot chocolate beverages. While at a major intersection (Westchester and Lexington), it's hard to miss if you're not looking. The parking is limited. Overall a good coffee shop.

Good coffee, inviting atmosphere. The fountain in the sitting area creates enough white noise that you can have quiet conversations without everyone in the coffee shop having to overhear. Be sure to bring cash for anything under $5.

Nice little independently-owned coffee shop. Variety of seating types and tables. Good selection of teas, coffees, and smoothies, and pastries to go with them. Some of the HPU kids like to make it a study spot, and nobody seems to mind if some MAMIL's stop in for a mid-ride drink.

A long-runner in High Point's coffee scene, DeBeen has something for everyone. The truly impressive selection includes the caffeinated and non-caffeinated alike, ranging from a simple cup to a nitro cold brew to any number of specialty drinks. I'm partial to the banana bread latte, but there are plenty of promising permutations. While I cannot speak to the baked goods, the coffee usually lives up to its promise.
That said, while some find the interior, laden with artwork and merch, to be endearingly quirky, it can also be a bit visually overwhelming, and pre-COVID, DeBeen was often not a quiet or relaxing space. Baristas are personable more times than not though you may occasionally encounter one who seems put out by having to make a beverage. Lastly, if you do not snag a parking space in front, the side/back lot can be dicey.
These points aside, DeBeen's commendable assortment and loyalty offers present compelling reasons to keep coming back.

Great local spot, great cold brew and inventive espresso drinks too.
