Joey's New York Bagels

If you order right from the menu you’re fine. Any special order has been a repeated problem for me. Stuff like , they get the ingredients wrong or they don’t toast the bagel when I ask…..check any order B4 you leave.

Usually love Joey’s bagels… they have the best BLT…. pretty much order it every time I eat there. I would have given 5 stars but the last two times I’ve gone to Joey’s (both locations) I had issues with service and food. I went to Joey’s in Hendo… ordered a BLT.. it was close to 2:45 they were cleaning up and closing. I ordered a BLT on sub roll.. specified just a BLT… nothing else. When I got home and opened the sandwich it had pickles, cheese, mustard, turkey and 2 slices of bacon. Joey’s was closed so I could not go back… very disappointed because there BLT is excellent.
Two days later… still craving the BLT.. I called in an order to the Fletcher location.. same order, BLT on a sub roll. I went to pick up and pay for my order and was handed a bag. After the prior experience I opened the bag to check the order and it was a bagel sandwich. I politely told the cashier this is not what I ordered. The receipt had BLT on sub roll written in red. I pointed that out and was told that the red meant that that was an available option and was told that I ordered the bagel blt… I explained that I get the exact same order every time… BLT on sub roll. The cashier was adamant that I ordered the bagel BLT. I got upset at this point and told her again… I always order the same thing a BLT on sub roll. She told me I had to take the bagel BLT and pay for it. I was shocked! I asked for a manager or owner and was told there was not a manager on site… so… obviously I did not pay for the sandwich I did not order and left (without my BLT on a sub roll) As good as the food is not sure if I will go back anytime soon. Check your order before you leave.

Got the big "E" hero sandwhich. It had a good amount of roast beef. I really liked the potato salad too. Great little place if you're tired of the usual chicken and burgers places.

Stopped there for lunch - very impressed! Nice selection including healthy ones like sandwiches made with lettuce wraps rather than breads. They have build your own sandwich (bread, meat, cheese & toppings) and lots of specialty sandwiches, too. I got their Ultimate Italian (it was on Wednesday Special) and a side of potato salad. The potato salad was mayo-based with bacon - so good! The sandwich tasted fresh and was dressed with an olive tappenade that made it very tasty. Next time I will try the Turkey Bacon Swiss sandwich and I know its gonna be great!

I just love ordering/paying for food and not receiving my whole order. I recently ordered 4 bagels for myself and coworkers, via ubereats, and although I paid for 4, they only sent 3.

Best bagels for at least 50 miles in any direction. Two locations - this one is easier to access from outside Hendersonville

I just discovered this place! The food was phenomenal and the staff were extremely pleasant. I’ll definitely be adding this place to my morning routine!

All handmade authentic NY-style bagels with a variety of flavors such as: blueberry, sesame, garlic, jalapeno and the classic "everything" bagel. Lots of different sandwiches as well so omelettes. The egg and asiago cheese on toasted sesame bagel was excellent.

I always grab some bagels when I a passing by Joeys. Got a dozen on special this trip.

Watch out! The big street side sign is currently missing. Seems a big windstorm blew it out and away.
