Joey's New York Bagels

The whole crew was amazing and so welcoming! Just great people. Will always stop here while on the road. A Great welcome back to the Carolina's from Hawaii 🙃

This is my second review. The first was of their other location. I reluctantly gave a 5 star review despite the total lack of seeds and toppings on everything bagel. I was hoping it was a fluke, but apparently not. This is NOT an everything bagel. This has a few sesame seeds and a few pieces of onion or garlic. Do seeds cost that much? Everything bagels typically have sesame and poppy seeds, onion, garlic and salt. Sometimes caraway seeds, although not a fan. Not only that but the bagel wasn’t fresh. Granted it was 12 noon, but it shouldn’t taste like yesterdays bagel. This is the sorriest everything bagel around.

The breakfast here is very good. The food is good for the price. I had the sesame bagel with egg and bacon and it was on point. I would really this place to anyone. For the week I was staying at the Mountain Inn Suite this was my go to place for breakfast

The bagels and coffee are very good here. I would have given them 5 stars but due to their inability to get thep order correct and the customer service I gave them a 4. It was a busy Sunday morning and I ordered 3 bagels and 1 coffee and 2 vanilla lattes. After waiting 15 minutes for my order they missed a vanilla latte. At the pick up, I told the girl I'm missing a vanilla latte. She told me I needed to get back in line. I waited 10 minutes in the line already. Then I told her I would just have a regular coffee. She said again, you have to go back in line and have a nice day. So I just left without a coffee. The gentleman in front of me ordered a sesame bagel and they gave him a seasonal bagel, he did not stand in line again to have his order corrected. Disappointed so I gave a 4.

A fantastic “old school” bagel shop with a mom n pop feel and hearty deliverables. And they have fresh “Everything” Seasoning for a buck!! A wonderful place for food while traveling through.

I want to love this place. Weird that they show you a diagram of what toasting bagels looks like but yet no matter how many levels of toasting you request ...it's a cold chewy bagel. That and serving 1 customer in 22 minutes on a Monday morning? I guess most customers come in to hang out and listen to the kitchen staff instead of going onto their job?

The sweet lady at the counter was excellent. We got our orders in paper bags and were told we should have said dine in if we were going to sit at a table. We did specify dine in. In additional, neither order was correct. Still didn’t complain. When I had left overs and asked for a box I was told they didn’t have to go containers, but I could have some paper to wrap it. Are you kidding me? You have to go orders, do ship out scrambled eggs in paper? It’s been a while since we visited this location- I won’t be coming back anytime soon!

I meant to post a review forever ago but it slipped my mind. I've since been to Joey's two times and they never disappoint! The first time I tried the bacon, egg and cheese on a french toast bagel and the second time, the reuben and a cup of apple cider. Both were cooked with care and to perfection and the apple cider was great for such a cold day. I'll be frequenting this spot probably more than I should 😁

We stopped for a quick bite on our way back to Georgia and had a fantastic experience. Some of the nicest people and the food is delicious. We will absolutely be back!

I had a toasted everything bagel with sausage, eggs, added cheese and bacon.
The location wasn't very crowded but it was definitely busy with many satisfied customers. The only available tables weren't previously wiped down and the sandwich was a little dry but nothing a Sriracha mayonnaise wouldn't fix.
