Matter More Coffee

I know that I am now spoiled when it comes to coffee since I have now lived in the PNW but this was by far the worst coffee I have ever had (and that includes the many cups of night shift sludge drank while turning wrenches on the flightline). The Americano my girlfriend ordered somehow had an artificial sweet taste which is beyond wrong. And the matter more mocha tasted like the forgot the coffee and just put Carmel I couldn't drink it. We tried to combine them to make something we could drink but that didn't work and we ended up dumping them out. I do not recommend this coffee house in no way at all.

My fiancé and I won’t make a trip to Topsail Beach without stopping here for a cup of coffee! Their coffee is top notch and their customer service is absolutely outstanding. Pete was extremely friendly and personable and started our day off on the perfect note!

Tried this place out a few times. Love that there is a drive thru and usually pretty quick and they’re open later than most shops in the area so it’s perfect for my late afternoon coffee. Only thing I would say is the latte’s might need an extra shot of espresso in them because they’re a little on the lighter side. Other than that great taste.

Came here a second time on a Saturday I was visiting town to see if it had improved. It had not. Drive through was slow too.

Average coffee. No better than port city and seemed like none of the baristas had any actual coffee experience because they couldn’t answer any questions. Environment is cute but generic. Another new coffee joint in hampstead over-saturating the market with boring drinks and no innovation. Unfortunately this area is going downhill like Wilmington. FYI, Little House is better, and truly local.

Service is always fantastic here. Solid coffee selection and a lot of comfortable seating. I just wish I lived closer so I could visit more often!

Matter More is truly a gem. The coffee is fantastic, and definitely stands out amongst the typical chains. Above all, the atmosphere is welcoming and lots of positive vibes. I enjoy getting school work done here on a weekly basis! my favorite is the nitro cold brew paired with a homemade gluten free protein muffin, delish!!

The staff is always so nice and fun. Very engaging! They often play throwback music and their drinks are delightful. Plus it's always so clean!!

Been there 4 times in the past couple weeks and tried 3 different drinks. All were delicious, but the Matter More Mocha is my favorite. I'm so excited for this new addition to Hampstead. The location and drivethru make it a convenient and quick stop on the way to work.

My Husband and I have been to this coffee shop a handful of times now and it is great! We love the coffee and the staff is kind and courteous. Love that they are a local group and have a drive through.

First time visitor recently. I love the atmosphere, friendly staff, plenty of room to enjoy a cup of coffee and have a quiet conversation. We will def be back.
