I take classes close by and for lunch I head to rude awakening for a coffee or tea. Ive been their twice already and highly recommended going. Downtown Fayetteville is such a nice area to walk through in my opinion & rude awakening just hits the spot. The tenders are friendly, the shop aesthetic is wonderful, and the food/drink is great. 5/5

I usually get a vanilla / caramel hot latte and it has always been very good! It’s a fun coffee shop with a great atmosphere and great customer service.
Overall good price on coffee and it was hot when I got it.

Very peaceful old school environment. The simple spinach and cheese crescent was just what I needed.

Place is so cute! Amazing coffee (I got a secret item called the addictive Nikki), soup was great as well. I love love love the vibe of this place. Indoor, patio, and back courtyard seating

I came to get some coffee from this very highly recommended Rude Awakening Coffee house. I came with a friend and she has been there before and stated their coffees are amazing. I ordered something for myself and for her and the customer service was terrible. When we first walked in and came to the register the lady did a deep sigh. My friend and I looked at each other and dismissed it. She took our order and was very rude & unfriendly. When we were getting ready to pay I told her my friend has a loyal program with them and she was very rude and her nonverbal spoke louder than words.
While we were waiting for our drinks to be prepared a handful of people walked in at one time. They were standing there for about 5 mins. Her demeanor was the same and was rude to the next clients behind us. She said “if you can move the line this way” while she slammed something on the counter.
Most definitely an unpleasant experience.

A coffee shop that also doubles as an eclectic shop with some local flair. It's one of the mainstays of Downtown Fayetteville that always has people around. With COVID still in effect, sitting within the store isn't very viable, but you can grab an outdoor seat.
It's pretty cool inside though with all of the random novelty gifts for purchase. It's definitely a cozy space, but is welcoming. They also have desserts for sale that vary with the selection. I ended up getting their cheesecake that had some caramel topping and nuts. It was a good cheesecake. The coffee is pretty good too. I ended up getting a mocha iced latte and enjoyed the strong coffee taste that did not come across watered down.
Overall, it's a good local coffee shop that has a lot of local resources and random things. Check it out if you're in the area!

Nikki and Morgan were super sweet and fun to talk to. They really make an effort to make you feel at home while you’re visiting Ride Awakening. It’s truly my favorite coffee shop in Fayetteville!

Brought someone here for a first date and it was an absolute lovely time. Nikki was both insanely kind and hilarious and suggested two of her own creations and showed us the garden patio at the back which had the most peaceful ambiance. 10/10 I’m going again

Had such a great morning here. Nicki and Morgan were so sweet and welcoming immediately upon walking in. They truly gave such a great experience and just made my day. I ordered an iced latte and a bagel and both were delicious! The courtyard patio out back is a must see also. Amazing spot all around!!

I go to Rude Awakening 2-3 times a week. The brown bag lunch is incredible, along with all the desserts. Every Sunday I get a coffee and pastry before church. The ladies are always bright and cheery, and the make a mean coffee, no matter what why you get it. The ladies are always kind and welcoming!
