Cocoa Cinnamon

I used to love this place but my last visit stopped me from going there. I ordered a cacao drink with macadamia milk but tasted sort of sour. I informed the lady there but she gave me an attitude and saying you asked for macadamia milk. Just like that.

While the coffee and pastry I had were both okay, both people behind the counter were extremely terse and not at friendly. I really did not feel at all welcome to stay and enjoy my pastry or coffee.

This place is great to relax, work, have fun, or just have a snack. Fom the atmospehere with the quaint tables outside, to the shared space inside the coffeeshop, to the friendliness of the staff; and, quality of coffee, tea, and desserts, I absolutely loved it!

Cocoa Cinnamon is our must visit coffee shop in Durham! Delicious coffee/pastries and great neighborhood vibe. Espresso drinks are on point and drip coffee is excellent as well.

Maybe my least favorite of the three cocoa cinnamons just because of the lack of couches. I respect the aesthetic of this location, just not a great sit-down-and-relax venue. As always, coffee is un(matcha)ed.

Very cute and cozy! I great place to meet up or do some work. The table space is a bit limited but there’s plenty of seating and outlets.

Service was great!! The only thing was that some of the customers were not nice.

Menu needs to be more detailed for those who don't like about all the cool things they saw on the website. They had few pastries (one reason that we went) bc it was Monday. She said they have few on Monday as (apparently) a main supplier is closed on Monday.....

What a great little local coffee/tea shop. This is not a Starbucks and if you think you are going to get that here... well you aren't. They are doing things no one else is doing. Go there and be adventurous.
