The Kind Cup

The kind cup is by far one of the cutest coffee shops I’ve been to. The art selection only added to this adorable atmosphere and many ceramic pieces could make wonderful gifts. The coffee itself was very good. I personally got a lavender honey latte and, unlike many coffee shops, it had strong delicious flavor. However the shop is a bit cramped and as many people come in to get a cup it is not for the claustrophobic type. It is also a bit nerve racking feeling like a wrong move could accidentally knock into and destroy art pieces on display. But despite this fact, the coffee shop has a wonderful, beautiful outdoor area. There are beautiful flowers growing outside and, as you sit outside on the patio, you can see a beautiful landscape in front of you.

We picked up some beautiful whale pottery and a watercolour painting of an oyster by Jackie Koenig.

Coffee was amazing, so says my coffee connoisseur wife; bringing home a couple bags of beans.

Really nice atmosphere and lots of local art and pieces to buy. We had a cafe mocha and a honeydew latte (a honey lavender drink). Both were very delicious! We will definitely visit again sometime for both the coffee and the art!

Great coffee in Corolla. Cute shop with many gifts and handmade items in shop location. Beautiful spot with a full garden out back. Only wish they would post closures on social media! Missed a few days this week and would have loved an espresso everyday. Serve house roasted coffee on La Marzocca with plenty of options for true coffee drinkers and flavored coffee items. The Corolla Fog is a great one of a kind drink. Have both oat and almond milk alternatives and Italian soda for a kid option (as well as hot chocolate in cooler weather). Looking forward to next year!

I’ve never been so in love with a coffee shop. We’re here on vacation and I wish I lived here just for the coffee. Delicious coffee, lovely art, very kind staff. 10/10.

An art/coffee shop. Roast their own beans in house. I enjoyed my cold brew and wife got a honey dew latte she liked. Local art and goods. Would definitely come back for coffee. People were very friendly.

An absolutely beautiful location, and even better coffee! They roast their own beans, and were even kind enough to show us their process and machinery. Incredibly high quality coffee. We went back a second day, even though it was a little bit more of a further distance, because of how great it was!

What a fantastic place! The coffee and pastries are delicious, and the service is absolutely wonderful! I could have spent hours looking at all the art and handmade goods for sale, as well! This will definitely be a frequent destination for my family when we visit OBX.

We stopped by on a Tuesday for a pick-me-up coffee around noon. The coffee was as impressive as the art gallery within. Numerous pieces from local artists filled the rooms and halls. The ladies at the counter were friendly and polite and made our coffee quickly.

My cortado and my daughter's salted caramel latte were both flavorful and well balanced. The prices were in line with most specialty shops. Plenty of outdoor seating under a shady tree. Well worth a visit if you're staying in Corolla!
