While this was the best cheesecake my lips had ever touched, I will not be returning! The price is robbery. $8.50 plus tax for a SLIVER of cake, literally a sliver. Thats approximately $136 for the whole pie. INSANE! 😳

Great, soft yeast donuts! I really enjoyed my spinach croissant!! Iced coffee was a very light flavor. it was pricey, but what isn't around here!

I came here as a youngster and returned today for nostalgic donut holes. First, they put way more than a bakers dozen. Also, grabbed a breakfast sammie, I’ll go out on a limb and say it’s one of the best I’ve had. Walking in with no expectations and walking out with a sandwich that rocked my socks off, the eggs still had a custardy texture and the buttermilk biscuit was a perfect accompaniment. Super happy that so many years later they’re still open but it makes total sense why they’ve survived so long with food as amazing as this!

If you're visiting The Outer Banks, Northern Lights Bakery is a must! My family and I went early AM and ordered a little bit of eveything. Right when you step in, you could smell the delicious aromatics. We ordered breakfast sandwiches, a dozen donuts, and various pastries. You can't go wrong with anything in this bakery. My favorite was the sticky buns, best hands down! The factor of the cinnamon and sugar were the right amout of sweet and gooeyness, with the chopped pecans. The dough is so soft and fluffy. Their coffee menu is just as good. My husband enjoyed his Nutella Latte. There customer service was excellent and they are so pleasant and friendly.

Exceeded every expectation I could ever have when ordering a cake 500 miles away solely based on their prior outstanding reviews. The customer service was top notch and their birthday cake was the talk of my daughter's party this evening. Thank you all for a wonderful experience (and the delicious coffee) to start my week long vacation here in OBX. Highly recommended!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! We called ahead to order cakes for our wedding at OBX this past summer. Obviously we were nervous as we could not taste test but the reviews were great so we went for it. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with choosing the sizes and flavors. We could not have been happier!!! The cake was delicious and the amount that was recommended was perfect! We will definitely be returning when we visit the beach again.

We ordered a mix of every pastry. They are all very good! We will be back. If you need a cake.... Order it way in advance. They do have some pies and individual cake pieces for daily pick up.

The owners are wonderful! Trained pastry chef has outdone herself with delicious pastries, muffins, cookies, donuts, cupcakes and more. Coffee bar serving up cappuccinos and lattes and more is fantastic! What an awesome find in a little beach town! If you're in Corolla, make this a must stop! For all of you in the outer banks not in Corolla, this place is worth the drive!

I have gone to this bakery for two years in a row now and I must say they have really stepped up their game! I ordered their sausage egg and cheese croissant and their black eye coffee and sat at the shaded table outside. The workers are enthusiastic and informative and happy to take your order. I must say they are one of the best bakery coffee shop I have ever been to and would recommend everyone to start their day with a trip to northern lights bakery

If the breakfast sandwiches and coffees my girlfriend and I got are any indication of the rest of the menu, everything here is brilliant. Even when clearly understaffed service was really quick and friendly, the location is super cute, and the baked goods looked to die for. I really couldn't recommend this place enough!
