No masks!?! None of the staff wear masks; such a shame they do not display more care for their patrons. Best coffee on the area; but I will not support them due to their complacent no-mask policy. Even the best coffee is not worth spreading a deadly virus.

A bit of a wait but the coffee was outstanding!

Great place to get coffee and Covid. I wish I were joking, but seriously not one employee wore a mask despite: (a) North Carolina's mandate from last June, (b) small-town America joining the bandwagon of public health wisdom, and (c) the centrality of coffee shops to intellectual life. Even with a drive-thru, their bustling dine-in area lacks a single sign of sacrifice to the times. Too many infractions for a recommendation.

This is a wonderful space to enjoy great coffee and homemade pastries. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I'm a regular here and resent the negative comments about mask wearing and the attempt to put them out if business intentally or not, sad. Just what this this country needs is more umployment.

I used to go to Open Road regularly. I enjoyed the coffee and muffins. My wife would go there to purchase muffins for her guests at her Airbnb. The management is openly defying the Governor's MANDATORY mask order and not required masks for their employees. The last time I went inside, not only were the employees and customers not wearing masks, but they were all sitting close together with no social distancing. I will never set foot in Open Road again. They have lost my business forever! I encourage boycott and it is my hope they will go out of business!!

It was my first time here and the girl came to my window in the drive through to get my order so it would make things go by faster. I was hesitate on what to order because I am picky about my coffee. She recommended the caramel macchiato. It was AMAZING!!

Great coffee and service! Plenty of seating indoors and out. Our go to coffee spot when in the Tryon area. I always get the Cafe Mocha - so much better than St@rbucks.

Stopped on a trip through from to NC to Memphis and will DEFINITELY stop again if we ever pass back by! The coffee was DELICIOUS. The staff was super friendly. On top of all of thay everything was clean and cozy AND all syrups and sauces are made here for a little extra love in your coffee! * Easy to get to from the interstate if youre just driving by and wondering if you should stop- you should!

So let me start out by saying the coffee and baked goods are great!
But they have serious leadership issues re: staffing organization, and keeping the line moving. Staff should not engage in personal conversations with customers when you have a line of people. I was 8th on line until the customer in front of me left due to the delay. They also ran out of regular size cups. My friends have made disappointing comments as well. Maybe its time to open a second location. I hope to see some improvements...

Fantastic small business that supports local farmers ......and is all about high quality and customer service. Rustic vibes and the smell of coffee to greet you, something to look forward to on my Saturday mornings off! Love open road
