Such a cozy place! Very affordable with a real variety of food options and beverages. Spacious, great lighting, and all sorts of seating options — whether you’re wanting to plop on a couch for some reading, sit at a high top table for computer work, or gather at a wider table for some team brainstorming. WiFi, clean bathrooms, games…even a pool table! It’s also great that they stay open until late. 😊👍

This is a great spot with coffee, beer, and wine! They have a great inside seating area with a co-working space upstairs and plenty of outside seating. Oh and there is a POOL TABLE, so I might be a little bias on this one. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly! As an added benefit the coffee is great!
Highly recommend if your looking for a good place to get some work done, practice some self care, or mix up the classic coffee date!

Just moved to Charlotte and I come in every day. The space in this cafe is amazing! The coffee and food is great, and all the staff is very kind and welcoming.
They have really cool themed nights as well, and cocktail/wine specials. A pool table, wicked fast internet connection, and upstairs offices.
Nothing else like it in the area. Believe me I have looked.
Also, four legged friendly!

A fun coffee shop inside the Novell apartment complex that is open to the public. Unique decor makes it fun including a pool table, an upstairs private seating area, and lots of comfy couches and seating areas that open up to an amazing outside area with games. Definitely worth a visit and the manager Carlos is very friendly and helpful.

Bright, spacious, and eclectic-feel coffee spot in the South End. Right off the Scaleybark stop on the Blue Line lightrail, this little gem, located on the first floor of Novel apartments, is a great place to chill with your friends over coffee, beer or tea. Nice selection of pastries and scones, as well as hand-crafted sandwiches and light lunch fare. Priced well, too.

Charlotte really does have some hidden gems!!! Found 1000 Hills Coffee because I was searching for a kronut (flaky, buttery, goodness made by Sugarmann). The atmosphere is definitely on point; natural lighting to die for with added accent lights. And even with the high ceiling (which I love) the background chatter is minimal, allowing for the music and the eloquent sounds of barista magic to shine through. Carlos is also a gem, fantastic customer service! I had a Caramanilla; one of their signature drinks, it was made perfectly. A well balance of coffee, milk, caramel and vanilla and not too sweet; which is perfect because I like to actually taste the coffee and not just a sugary hot drink.

This is such a great place to meet clients or friends.
The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing with a twist of entertainment. You can fine quick games like jenga, Chinese checkers, and more throughout the space.
I only gave him unless Star for food because it’s currently limited to pastries. The drinks are amazing 🤩 I had a chai frappe the barista suggested.

I’ve been coming here since they opened in August of 2021 and I LOVE it. I’ve been recommending it to all of my friends as well. They have incredible coffee, cold brew, oat milk, vegan items, a brand new seasonal menu, 16 beers on tap, a fantastic cocktail program, kombucha, cider beers, desserts, games, TV’s, chill couches, private office space, literally could go on. It’s a great spot for meetings, interviews, hanging with friends and they have live music most Friday nights with food trucks. I can’t say enough great things about this place and they are always adapting and adding new items based on poling their guests and residents. I heard they will be carrying fresh produce soon which will be very convenient. I come down some nights for a bottle of wine, grab a cocktail before I catch the light rail, or play pool with friends. The nice part is they are open until 9pm most nights! I highly recommend coming to check out their coffee, food and environment - it’s a great location at the Scaleybark light rail station and currently have free garage and street parking!

THE BEST Coffee Shop in Charlotte, by far.
I came across this place while looking for an alternative to Starbucks & Caribou Coffee where I could have a clean, bright area to work and enjoy a coffee. What I found was a much more than a coffee shop- this feels more like a modern restaurant/lounge.
First- the service is outstanding. Starting with Carlos, the team here is the best I have seen in a long time. Maggie, Hazel and the team in the morning are very welcoming and accommodate almost any request for coffee/ food (e.g. I do not like Onions- so they made me a breakfast burrito without pico de gallo).
Other pluses: The location is new, clean and modern. Large windows create a well lit and bright environment. The tall ceiling (2 floors) ensures that you can work here for an hour or two and avoid smelling like burnt coffee when you leave.
The music is appropriate but not overbearing like some other coffee shops.
Seating- lots of seating- and comfortable seating.
Start to finish- my new place 100%. Great quality product, great location and friendly intuitive service. Excellent.

I've been to a silly amount of cafes/coffee shops, and I would say this is one of the best! The interior is very thoughtfully decorated, and feels conducive to many activities, from studying to socializing. The outdoor area is very inviting as well, and they have some cornhole ready to play.
The drinks are a bit pricey, but well worth it for the vibe the place brings. I'll come back just to sit in the incredible furniture!
