Backdrop Coffee

New favorite coffeehouse. The staff are incredibly personable and kind. Ask the owner for a tour of the in-house production process. The coffee was wonderful. Creative touches dominate the interior space, with ample space inside to spend time and get some work done, and there's plenty of parking. There's also a great outdoor patio nearing completion which has great views of uptown. The Batchmaker bakery is just across the patio. An all-around solid spot!

Wonderful spot with great coffee and super friendly staff and ownership! Lots of space inside and outside in the courtyard for studying, work, or hanging out. Haervest Coffee roasters next door that supplies the coffee is a really cool spot if you get a chance to ask about it!

Oh, and try the sourdough waffle while you're there!! 🧇😍

This place is more than a coffee shop - it's a hub for the community. The owners are focused on making a difference in the world and are dedicated to inclusive spaces for those who are differently-abled (many of their employees have disabilities and do everything from roasting to making the artwork). They provide a sensory coffee tasting experience, complete with lights, sounds, and tactile objects. I've never seen anything like it. Positivity radiates through the place - not to mention the coffee and treats are delicious on top of everything else. This is a MUST visit!

Incredible coffee with a friendly staff. The space is huge so it’s easy to find a place to post up with your laptop.
