My fiance and I spent some time here while visiting my parents in NC and it was the best! Not only are the coffees/latte's/pastries delicious, but the space is amazing. We needed somewhere to work and there's an upstairs work space with free wifi which was exactly what we were looking for. I appreciated the hospitality too. The owner spent some time talking to us and I wish him very well in the future. We'll be back in October and looking forward to visiting again. Thank you for everything! Definitly coming back!

My experience at "Crush and Grind" was horrendous. The employee who served me was completely arrogant and incompetent. Her incompetence was to the point where she did not alert me of the price of my items until I had already paid. I began with ordering a mocha cold brew coffee with no ice or creamer. The employee charged me for two cold brew coffees without mentioning the current price change. Her apparent logic is that you get twice the amount coffee without ice so inturn you get charged twice as much. I am extremely unsatisfied with having to pay 10 dollars for cold brew coffee. Not to mention the horrendous customer service. *There is no section in the menu that mentions an increase of price with no ice*

Great little place on the boardwalk! Good coffee, good selection of beer, and wine...what more could you ask for. Cozy little place!

As a world travelled coffee lover I can tell you this is one of the best cups of brew I have had. Ever. Plus the manager there is very knowledgeable and supports local businesses. Instead of spending 5 bucks at some major corp, come here and enjoy real coffee!!!

Excellent coffee beverages, and a great selection of craft beer! Our barista was SO helpful and made some on-point beer suggestions. Bonus: He wore a mask (and wore it correctly) the entire time, so it's the safest I've felt in Wilmington so far.

The cold brew at this place is phenomenal. Carolina Beach had been missing a great coffee shop in this area, and it's so nice to see a local shop in this space instead of a chain. I was impressed with their efforts to be environmentally friendly with compostable plastic cups and paper straws.. but I will admit those paper straws do get wet and flimsy after about 10 minutes in an iced beverage. I would recommend drinking fast!

Coffee was ok. The flavor of each drink we had was very muted. The beer and wine selection was great. They have a nice upstairs patio and inside seating area.

As a CB local, I was blessed to find this place. The barista Rita is personable and has an encyclopedic knowledge of coffee and beer. She knows a gose from a lager from a pilsner. Apparently, she has been a brewmaster at Sam Adams and did some work to develop Oktoberfest. Hands down this is the best place for local brews and finely crafted coffees.

If only the coffee were as good as the staff.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I'm from PA and they gave us tips on where to go and events that were happening in the area near us. They have beer wine and coffee and their coffee is phenomenal. Definitely give it a try!!!
