Hatchet Coffee

hatchet is amazing! the atmosphere is wonderful, the selection of products from local artists and from their own company that they offer is amazing. the staff is so friendly, and the food and drinks are incredible. i have had the avocado toast several times and their vegetarian breakfast burrito. both were delicious and wait time was around 5 min, not bad at all. love this place!!!

A hidden gem! Lots of space (even when they’re busy) to hang out or get some work done. They support lots of local artisans and the humane society. Great place and atmosphere. I will definitely be coming back!

Came here because everyone hyped up the avocado toast. For a place this pricey and trendy (they have oat milk, monk fruit sweetener, a fun item vending machine, and local boutique shopping) I was very surprised to not see any gluten free or keto options for the toast.

The avocado toast is good, but I think it would be better with a fried egg on top. The chili oil on it makes it very unique, but I don't think it's worth the hype.

I got a half caff iced Americano, and it was very good. I also bought a bag of decaf coffee and the barista kindly offered to grind it for me. All the staff was very friendly.

The sausage, egg, potato, and cheese burrito is also very good and goes along well with the avocado toast.

Wow from the first step in I was sold! Cool vibes, neat accessories earrings, local honey, tees, candles, ect… on either side of the waiting line area. The cashier had a beautiful welcoming smile 😊 and greeted us as we made it to the counter. We ordered the Chai coffee cake, Avocado toast and a honey cinnamon Latte. It was all amazing!! I haven’t have an Avocado 🥑 toast that good since living in Japan! The bread was local artisans, thick slices with sprouts, maybe hummus it was truly amazing! The Coffee was also very good! And the cake was also delicious! The Avocado toast was so appetizing I forgot to take a picture. So we ordered the full order thats two slices.
There are picnic tables scattered around the parking lot, we sat behind the shop maybe the staff table but it was nice!! Thanks so much for providing such a great place! Oh and 20% Military discount! Thanks so much Jeremy!!

Every time we go to Boone I need Hatchet Coffee! The Best service.. they are so nice and they always take the time to make your coffee just right. Then you can go outside to the picnic table and see this amazing view!

This is a nice local place to get great coffee, delicious sandwiches and the yummy Stick Boy pastries and breads! We decided to give this place a try for breakfast during our weekend of moving our daughter into Appalachian State University. My wife and I shared the avocado toast and breakfast burrito. Both were delicious and fresh. We also tried their Warm Hug and Jade Smoothie. Both were excellent except I wish the coffee was hotter but I like it piping hot!
The location is slightly off the beaten path but Google and Apple Maps will get you there with no issues. There are plenty of indoor and outdoor tables available for eating there. The food, coffee and staff are excellent so don't hesitate to stop by and give them a try.

Went went during peak hours, so the line was really.long when we got there, but it moved pretty quickly and they had a great selection of local items to look at while we waited. My latte was excellent, but my husband's PSL was a work of art! They even took the time to toast the marshmallow. Very cool spot and we will be back, maybe when it's less crowded.

Great coffee shop a little out of town, but worth the visit. You might have a wait depending on when you arrive as this is a popular spot with good reason. if you’re a fan of peanut butter you’ve got to try the peanut-buddy. In the words of Homer Simpson, “AaggaGGhGhghGhGhghhhh”. Be sure to check out the vending machine

A wonderful local coffee spot. I loved the Jasmine Gold Tea, Apple Strussel Granola but my favorite was the Rosemary Asiago Bagel!! It was the perfect place to fuel up before our hike.

This is definitely off the beaten path, but certainly glad we found it. The atmosphere is bright and open with plenty of seating. The iced mocha was delicious (my go-to for new places). The music was not your typical coffee shop music, but kind of fits the place. Still definitely be back the next time we are in Boone.
