Beaufort Coffee Shop

I love Cru! Great coffee shop vibe with wine bar and ice cream. I use to come here in 2016 to grab coffee and do some studying while at the Duke Marine lab. Glad to see it still holding its charm 5 years later.

Coffee was amazing, service was friendly and quick, a great spot if you’re in town and need caffeine. They are located in the door next to Cru coffee and wine bar, technically the same room. Not hard to find but confusing on the map!

The food is decent...but definitely not worth the price or the wait!! My friend and I waited for over 30 minutes for a grilled cheese. They seem to be far understaffed. I go there a lot, early in the morning when there is nobody there and they still take a long time to make food that is just mediocre.

My sister and I ordered very different dishes, but we recieved two identical ones. She couldn't eat hers because of an allergy, and they did not offer to remake it correctly when she brought the issue up. Both were $7.95, i.e. $16 total all in all for about a cup and a half of sloppily cooked breakfast food. I also don't think they've ever heard of seasoning; there was not a single discernable grain of salt, and certainly nothing else to spice it up. The to-go packaging wasn't very takeout-friendly and the overcooked veggies leaked all over the brown paper bag they put it in. It took about 20 minutes and 10 other customers' coffee orders before we got our food.

Overall, too pricey and too long a wait to warrant something I could've cooked better on the hood of my car.

Iced tea was good.

Sweet looking place.. nice to see good workers who enjoyed their job!!! I got coffee, which I believe is good for most people; healthy in other words..! The atmosphere was wonderful.. great coffee: worth the visit!!

Every time I come for family vacation I make a stop here for my coconut chai lattes 🥰🖤 never disappoints always delicious 🤤 and the food is amazing 🤩

Great vibes in the shop, ordered hot chocolate with a chocolate bar inside and a bacon egg and cheese bagel and it was amazing! Would definitely visit again if I'm ever in the area

2nd to Worst coffee shop in Beaufort.
Cream cheese was not pure cream cheese but a spread all artificial ingredients, tasted terrible. BLT was mesh, service extremely slow with three people working. They don’t offer Decaf other than americana which is water down.

They were closed early on Sunday when I stopped by for the day. Looks cute, just wish they had better hours, especially since their area is such a touristy place.
