Fred & Larry's Coffee

A nice little coffee shop. Their frozen drinks definitely have a strong coffee taste to them. I enjoyed the atmosphere, but it took quite a few minutes to receive the two drinks(we were the only customers at the time). They offer a wide variety of flavors to choose from.

Great Coffee, Cozy Atmosphere + Friendly Staff!
My husband and I stayed in Banner Elk for 4 days and stopped here every morning. The 'pumpkin amazing' specialty coffee was so delicious. Lattes were also wonderful. The staff were very friendly and I enjoyed waiting for my to go coffee in their cozy cafe. Highly recommend stopping here for a coffee!

Tried a selection from the "Summer Menu" (Samoa Latte) and a blueberry scone. The latte was as promised, surprisingly not overly sweet considering the syrups involved. The scone was quite good, very well baked to get the crust with the inside just right. My only criticism is they use really large and awkwardly shaped iced cubes, do yourself a favor if getting an iced drink and pass on a lid, you won't be able to drink through it without risking alternating complete occlusion by the ice or suddenly "dam breaks" and a flood of coffee.

Awesome coffee and pastries and just adorable inside! The staff is lovely, the girl at the counter was by herself and handled the huge line in a professional and calm manner. It was my first time there and I will certainly be coming every time I come to the area! It’s my new favorite coffee shop!

This is the cutest place to get coffee! Even through the pandemic, the staff was super nice and accommodating. I’m not a coffee fan so they greatly helped me out by finding a drink that was so good! 10/10 recommend!

New residents in Linville. We love, love coffee.
Our first visit in 2020, coffee was really good. Unfortunately, since then, not so good. Coffee is bitter and has a horrible after tastes. I’m sorry to post this but hoping it will encourage someone to look into the inconsistencies. Baked goods are really good though.

The cinnamon latte I got had WAY too much cinnamon, I couldn't even taste the coffee. However the white chocolate mocha I got was very good.

The service was not great. Very slow and not real friendly. I also didn't like that a couple employees didn't have a mask(but a couple did), and a girl hanging out inside didn't either. I'm not afraid of covid, but if the customers are held to a certain standard than everyone in the shop should be. For this reason I probably won't be back.

I visited this beautiful coffee shop a few months ago with my father after leaving the Oktoberfest they hold in Sugar Mountain! I have to say, this was honestly the best coffee I’ve ever had! The environment was laid back and extremely calming. My dad and I still talk about it to this day and tell all of our friends and family about this coffee shop!
