On vacation and tried them out. Definitely a good choice. Had a Chai latte, the best I've tasted in a long time. Blueberry muffin was sweet and dense, very tasty. Tey have gluten-free options. Beautiful flowers out front, and the building is charming, but sidewalk could use a sweep (smoker friendly). Service was on point, very friendly and speedy. Enjoyed the sunrise view right in the parking lot as a bonus. Don't forget to tip, and have a nice day =)

If your idea of a great experience is standing outside in 30 something degree weather for a coffee or still want the feeling of living in February 2020, this is the place for you.

We headed down to Banner Elk Cafe to an incredibly cool, mountain kinda cozy local place and spent our money there among those living in present day. Won’t be back despite wanting to try it out for two trips to the area. Banner Elk Cafe has a hearts…and our business.

Excellent coffee! It's a cute little coffee shop with very friendly staff. There's a nice selection of muffins and baked goods, and the freshly brewed regular old coffee was fantastic. Their custom crafted lattes and espresso based drinks were also great. There's limited seating, in and out, and can get busy at times, but it's worth the wait. Always worth the drive.

Coffee and bagel was delicious. I was immediately greeted by staff when I walked in. I was just caught off guard that I had to stand by the front door to order, I couldn’t even see the menu. I guess you can’t sit inside anymore because Covid? The nice lady brought us our goods out to our vehicle. I’d go back again.

Coffee is good prices to high. Will think hard before returning

This is the best coffee shop I have tried so far in the Banner Elk area! The staff were really friendly and the atmosphere is cozy. It is a little busy but that is obviously because it is so good. I felt safe with the COVID precautions that were taken. The pumpkin latte was so good, I came back the next day for another one! It was the best Pumpkin latte I have ever had the pleasure of tasting! Also, thank you for having almond milk!

Oh yeah this place rocked hard, coffee was a little bitter, but the vibe was cool. No sit in eating allowed.
