Fred & Larry's Coffee

Coffee was great, but not being able to go in was sad and disappointing. Had I been able to enter, I would have bought some local coffee beans, etc., before we left the area. Many of you all are way too afraid of covid up here. Live your life!

Stopped in yesterday for a Brown Sugar Vanilla Latte--it did not disappoint! I also requested a "pupacinno" for my toddler because she loves getting them from SBUX. For those that don't know, it's essentially just a small cup with whipped cream. The girl who made it for her went above and beyond and made it SO cute with pink glitter sprinkles. It was such a sweet way to make it special and needless to say, my daughter loved it. We will definitely be visiting a few more times before we leave Sugar Mountain.

Great little coffee shop and friendly staff. They had freshly baked goods that were really tasty as well. We will be back during our next visit!

One of the best iced mocha's I've ever had. Love coming here everytime I'm in the area. Must go place if you're a coffee lover.

Stopped in over the Thanksgiving weekend as we have in the past when in Banner Elk. The store was pretty busy and staffed by only one person who was trying to take and fill orders simultaneously, which obviously resulted in a longer than expected wait. If 20 minutes or more is a normal wait time maybe a sign to let customers know would be helpful. The young woman behind the counter was super nice and apologetic, but the guy who kept going behind the counter, but didn’t seem to be working, was rather brusque when we asked about the wait. Coffee was good, but it was an incredibly long wait for two coffees. Also, the “right to refuse service to anyone” sign on the door was a little off-putting. Just wondering who would be refused. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Tried maple cream seasonal roasted coffee. SO GOOD. Smooth

Their latte and coffee were amazing. Nice atmosphere as well.

We love Fred and Larrys! Literally a daily morning stop when we are up visiting this area vs trying to sit down for breakfast every morning. Pastries are always pretty good, my favorite are the apple and peach Danish when they have them.

Very good coffee at an affordable price, and very nice employees!! I am only in this area for the summer but I’ve already been here at least 10 times! Will be back!

We stayed on Beech Mountain for the weekend and after day 1 we were hooked on this place! We went back everyday. Their Maple Me Crazy Cold Brew is to die for. Staff was helpful and prices were fair as well.
