Hands down our favorite spot for breakfast and pastries! Their biscuit breakfast sandwich is beyond heavenly, made with copious amounts of butter and house-made maple sausage. It's to die for. We also love to come here to work in their cozy upstairs area—which has plenty of outlets and natural light.

I enjoy trying whatever new pastries or breads The Rhu offers, and continue to savor the regulars:. not-too-sweet cinnamon buns, biscuits (including gluten-free), any brioche on the menu, Parker House & potato rolls, levain sourdough rye, fig-rhubarb bars, laminated baguette (like a super crispy croissant), and the best pimento cheese I know of anywhere. Yesterday I bought sweet rolls that looked different from anything I've ever seen, they hadn't even named them yet, and they were FABULOUS! You can trust the quality of anything that comes from The Rhu, and I do!

Absolutely amazing! Love going here after yoga and having a salad for lunch. Their pastries are incredible and their coffee is great too. Love sitting upstairs and working on my laptop. Staff is so friendly and helpful, especially Shonie. Go here! You won't be disappointed!

We stopped by for breakfast on our way out of town and The Rhu is my new standard for breakfast! Fantastic homemade breads and spreads! Excellent, local coffee! Pimento cheese grits?! Amazing! Wonderful cozy atmosphere!

Not what I expected! Customer service was terrible first of all. The young man didn't even acknowledge me when I said hello and when I had a question about the quiche he seemed annoyed. Also the quiche just tasted like straight up salt. Definitely not worth $7.50 for that slice. Won't recommend this place. There is better options around town

The Rhu's breakfast sandwich is the absolute best. Even better, they offer a gluten free biscuit option that is an actual biscuit - light and buttery. Delicious homemade sausage, a thick fold of fluffy eggs and always piping hot. Seriously, the best. While you're there, you can grab an espresso, pick up some local jam, snag a fresh pastry or GF cookie or order a picnic basket lunch for later. This place is such a treat!

This place strikes such a perfect balance of flavors and textures for an unassuming little cafe. The laminated baguette is so crunchy yet chewy and savory yet slightly sweet. And the sweet potato bacon brioche with egg is everything you could’ve asked for in breakfast toast.

Uhhhh. Terrible. Ordered one of the breakfast sandwiches on an everything bagel. Typically when you order an everything bagel there is a small amount of seeds on it. Unfortunately that was not the case. The bagel was COVERED in the seeds, to the point where I could taste more seeds than bagel. Who looks at this and thinks they can serve it? Won’t be returning.

Sooo good! Removing a star for long waits. Between line and waiting for food after order, took about 45-55 minutes.

Breakfast biscuit sandwich, mini apple pie, and chai latte are delicious. The table was a bit dirty and the air smoky. I think they were just having an unexpected burn in the kitchen and it was keeping them from wiping down my spot. I recommend this place.
