Busy Sunday morning, one register, two people making and serving the coffee, two "line cooks" doing breakfast sandwiches. Nice place, but... although the food is decent, the service is horrendous. I waited almost an hour for my coffee and over two hours for a bacon, egg, and cheese bagle. They had messed up the order in which patrons made their orders, a whole mess. Wouldn't be back.

Wonderful atmosphere, friendly staff and great gluten free options!

Delicious food in a simple, cozy space. We came for brunch on our first day in the area and returned on our last day because the Appalachian sandwich is that good! It's a bit pricey, but you can taste the quality in every ingredient. The turkey is heavenly on it's own, but combined with the crispy bacon, collard greens, etc. it's one of the best sandwiches I've ever eaten. We also managed to eat 3+ loaves of their laminated baguettes in the course of our 4 day stay in the area.

I wish that there were more of these places around where I live.
Love that it was a little hole in the wall kind of spot.
The food was fantastic and very well priced. Staff was professional and kind.
Next time I come to Ashville I'll be stopping here for the Appalachian again.

Blueberry almond pastry was great, but the sausage breakfast sandwich was the kind of thing you don't want to even finish - an unseasoned egg blob on a stale English muffin.

The food is always very good, the service usually subpar. Came at 9:05 shorty after they opened and coffee wasn’t ready and they had no half and half. There was no one else ahead of me and a bagel and sausage biscuit and two coffees still took 20 minutes.

To the management - Consider having them start coffee when they get in. It will be ready when you open.

Generally, busy locals seem to avoid sue to slow service and no parking. If you’re a tourist and have time to wait, then go.

Chill atmosphere, great coffee and amazing pastries. We were in town with friends for a long weekend, tried here & scrapped the list of other cafes we intended to visit.

Great little work space with good internet. Parking is what you expect of downtown. Friendly ish folks although staff bickers with each other a lot.

Only one vegan option for food.

They close at 4p per their posted hours, which may not coincide with the end of your need of a work space.

Delicious breakfast bites. Lots o goodies on the menu. Coffee was tasty and service was wonderful.
If it looks crowded don’t worry there is extra seating upstairs.
They have some local provisions for sale as well.

Will be putting The Rhu in our breakfast/coffee rotations.

Excellent place to work. Great wifi, comfortable seats, great food, very decent coffee, lots of power outlets. One of the best biscuits I've had in Asheville.
