Fun little Cafe..staff was friendly...food was great n not expensive.

Good little local spot. Food was inexpensive, came quickly, and the coffee was good. Not a ton of veg options if you're worried about that. But if you want country style breakfast they have loads of options.

Love Hungry Bear. Their breakfast is the best. Good mom and pop shop. My wife and kids love it. Waitresses are always nice and on point!

We stopped by here for lunch before we left Asheville - and so happy we did! Food was amazing, atmosphere felt very homey, and the staff were very nice. We tried a few places in Asheville but they felt very ‘off’, so glad we were able to experience this place before we left.

Don’t go if you’re not a “regular”, or not conservative, Christian. We got there the same time the “regulars” did. They ordered got there food and finished before we got our food. Over priced and not very good food for Asheville, or anywhere. Got a veggie omelette with cheese and maybe had a little sprinkle of cheese. The same for my sons cheese eggs. Had the good Christian music playing in the background though along with the wall attire. First bad meal I’ve had in Asheville. I’ll drive 6 seconds down to Waffle House.

This restaurant completely met my expectations! It’s a very simple place but we were not looking for a fancy breakfast. If you want down home simple cooking, then this is the place for you. I thought our breakfast was great! I also liked the totally modest local vibe. Wait staff is friendly, checkered table cloths & hearty simple but good local food. Give it a try!

Do not skii out on this place. Pulled it up on Google, and glad we did. Food is super delicious, staff very friendly. This place is the perfect townie diner. Here for an extended weekend, and glad to find this place is within minutes of our Vrbo. Will be back without question.

Old school charm with great breakfast plates. Bear Bowl is my favorite.
