I really wanted to like Summit Coffee. It was my first time here. It's in a great section of River arts. Near 12 Bones and Marques shopping. The building and area all feel great. The shop is pretty cool and everyone was nice. But in the end the coffee was a weak display of excellence. The latte was almost cold. The cappuccino was weak. I drink a lot of coffee shop coffee. This shop , itself had many others beat with the great feel. But in the end the coffee and flavor just didn't excite

Such a cute spot! Sadly, they were completely sold out of their pastries today. But I was able to try some of their coffee and it was not disappointing!! I’m glad they do not charge for milk substitutes like many other coffee shops do. Even though there was a line, our order came out fairly quick. I’m sure the employees were feeling overwhelmed with the crowed because I could see it on their faces and one employee had a poor attitude. Understandably, we all have bad days so I’m sure today was just one of those days.

The space is unique and well thought out. The coffee was excellent. If we had more time and all the spots weren’t full, we would’ve stayed to work for a while.

Trendy coffee shop with an industrial-boho esthetic ~ great for knocking out work on your laptop, meeting a friend, or treating yourself on a self-date.
Things you should know:
I. PARKING
There's a free private lot in front of the entryway. This location is my favorite because it's in the colorful River Arts District, so you can aimlessly wander the galleries once you've gotten stir-crazy from sitting.
II. SERVICE
Timely and kind ~ no complaints. You place your dirty dishes in the plastic bin they provide when you're done with them. You'll see it when you go to order.
III. QUALITY
You can't go wrong with their coffee, but their pastries are also delish. We got the chocolate chip scone, and although it looks dry it was moist in the middle.
IV. CAPACITY
We came on a late Monday morning and this place was so packed we were worried we wouldn't be able to find a seat.

Great coffee shop with a wonderful atmosphere and friendly staff. Located in the river arts district, the outdoor seating area has views of lots of street art on the other old warehouses. Plenty of parking, good coffee, and a selection of pastries and bagels to eat. The upstairs seating seems like it would be a great place to work if you needed to escape your office for a while.

Such a cool cool place! The vibe, the murals outside, the coffee- amazing! So Asheville:))
I had a meeting with a friend this morning and I’m sure I’ll be suggesting this place to my clients who are new to the area.

Everyone was so nice! We were visiting and the barista was taking her time and telling us all about the menu and her favorite. And we accidentally spilt a drink at the lid/warmer/sugar station and while we cleaned it up she offered to make us a new one! (And didn’t charge us) very sweet staff and such a cool place!

Lavender latte was delicous but not very hot when I received it. Almost luke warm. Coffee cake was wonderful!

Really cool spot among a bunch of cool art studios, breweries, restaurants, skate park, and other fun spots. Drinks were really good, great ingredients and flavors. Definitely going to be a go to spot. Lots of space inside and outside to set up a laptop and work. Plenty of people doing just that. Have both coffee, sodas, and beers, some snacks and deserts. Will be back for sure. See photos: surrounded by really cool graffiti and wall art

I wish I could’ve given more stars, but my customer experience wasn’t ideal. It was a busy day, but the barista wasn’t very polite and refused to offer lids for my coffees while I was handling a toddler. My cappuccino was okay but expensive. Not worth the wait or the attitude.
