Higher Grounds

Ate here 4 days in Aug of 2018 and again 2019. Good place to get a good breakfast quickly. Menu is on the back wall, order food at the cash register and self serve coffee. Eggs, omelets, oatmeal, yogurt, and bakery treats. My only complaint is that the stuff beyond the counter gets neglected like refilling the milk for coffee and wiping off dirty tables. Every day I wiped down my own table with a wet napkin.

Absolutely awesome food for very reasonable prices. Every time I’m even remotely close for work, I make sure this is the stop I make for lunch. Not even mentioning the coffee.... so good. Someone knows what they’re doing.

Best place in town! Locally owned & staffed, Higher Grounds consistently provides amazing coffee, food & service. A definite must-go if you're in the area.

The waffle was awesome! Coffee was good. Nice clean place. Good vibe. Close to skiing. Do it.

Used to serve ice cream like a small town ice cream shop - heaping scoops that attracted generous tips and made for happy kids. Now you’re lucky to get what would be considered a standard scoop anywhere else when you order THREE SCOOPS! It’s a bad business decision.

Great place, nice people, diverse menu.. the one thing I ended up getting did lack flavor though.. it was a breakfast burrito and had way too many potatoes in it

Please fire your staff immediately! Or put them back on training. Waited for food 40 min. Everyone else who ordered complained. Good good , good concept but staff has no idea what they are doing. Owner please step up.

Bought egg, bacon, cheese sandwiches, they were amazing. DELICIOUS!
Before a hike, this place should a stop for eats.

I got a bacon egg and cheese on a hard roll and it was stellar. Best breakfast sandwich I've had in a long time. The hard roll was especially impressive.

This place is dope! Not so classic western omelette is so good! Big potions , the toast wheat (bread) is delicious! Coffee and latte are very descent! Strongly recommend on your way to Windham mtn.
