Cool Beans Coffee

Nice little coffee house... Great ice coffee... Good pastry... Friendly employees. I love small business and these guys created a perfect little spot to hang, scroll mindlessly on your phone and drink coffee. Comfortable couches around a decent size TV... High tables around the vintage style record player. The place definitely has the look and feel. I could see this place being a definite jumping off point for the cafe racer, retro/vintage motorcycle crowd to grab a cup before a Saturday or Sunday morning ride... Or maybe viewings of live F1 races. Cool place... could be even cooler with some out of the box thinking to draw more people in... Either way... I'll be going back for a cup before I head out riding. 2 young brothers started the place and I love that!... Family sticking together trying to get something going... I wish them the best of luck!

Being 3 minutes away from my boyfriends house I was excited to give this place a try. I don’t usually write negative reviews and I don’t like to be this person but… I walked in and took a few minutes to decide what I wanted since it was my first time being there. The woman behind the counter didn’t greet me until I said hi first and then proceeded to look at her phone. I ordered a matcha latte with oat milk and strawberry flavoring and a caramel latte for my boyfriend. Had nothing to complain about until I saw my matcha being handed to me and it was the color brown? Haha I was confused but thought maybe they added coffee to it for some strange reason and I politely said out loud to them “this is matcha?, why is it brown?” Lol they went on to explain that the red strawberry flavor pumps made it that color and the oat milk “has a brown coloring as well” now… I will provide a picture because In writing this sounds acceptable but if you saw it, it looks just bad. In their defense they did want me to try it before I left for “reviews” but being me I just laughed and made my way out not to hurt anyones feelings. There was very little matcha in the drink and I didn’t even taste any strawberry like flavor at all- even with all the presumably red flavoring going in it. After a few minutes there was a bit of green at the bottom of the cup making me think maybe it just wasn’t mixed properly? Either way, I don’t think they used nearly enough matcha powder as needed for a medium drink. My boyfriends drink was very light in color making me wonder how many espresso shots go into a medium latte in their eyes? And as to all the other reviews I’ve seen for this place after visiting, I can confirm they are indeed quite pricey. I paid almost $17 for the drinks. I do admit, I wouldn’t mind spending $20 at Starbucks or a decent local coffee shop for 2 drinks, as long as they’re good. I almost wish I asked them to make me another one, just to see how they reacted, since the reviews explain they will not do so. Try it for yourself if you want, just know what to expect.

On top of this, I heard the man helping me along side the woman, making the drinks was the owner. Makes me wonder how drinks are handed away looking like mine with a clear conscious! Very confused by the whole experience.

This is the best and friendliest coffee shop in Sayville! My absolute favorite is the iced matcha tea with coconut milk, but there are so many more I’ve tried and all good. And the pastries! Yum! There’s something here for everyone (Reg, V, GF). Every time I come I’m asked by my son to get a chai latte and crumb cake for him. Whole family loves this place. Do yourself a favor and go…NOW!

Cool 😎 beans 🫘 Coffee ☕️ shop is the best around by far. Good coffee ☕️. Nice 📺 TV 📺 and couch 🛋. Netflix. YouTube. Good music 🎼 and here’s a hint it’s Alexa so you can play DJ just by commanding Alexa- cool perk with the coffee ☕️. The owner is a young man, very nice young business owner. Let’s help him out. The Bilingual girl at the counter is so kind and nice definitely leave her a cash tip. CASH 💰 tip! Be well and enjoy the coffee 😎 🫘 ☕️

This coffee shop has an amazing cozy atmosphere. When I walked it I was welcomed kindly and also very accommodating with helping pick which drink to get. Coffee is freshly made and the best coffee I have tasted and knocked Starbucks out the park ! Will definitely recommend to everyone and will be coming back!

Delightful coffee joint! Tasty coffee, clean, comfy, expansive baked good selection, friendly barista. A wonderful departure from the big-box coffee fray.

Coffee and pastries are really good! I stopped by to set up at a table and do some work, but unfortunately there was a smell by the tables - I'll spare y'all the description of what it smelled like. I was only able to stay for a few minutes before I had to go. Hopefully it was just a one time thing!

Great little spot just west of downtown Sayville. We go here when we want something different (from the big coffee shop!). Nice and clean with a super friendly staff. Definitely would recommend.

Decent coffee but terrible customer service. The guy behind the counter was on his cell phone on a call. Didn't even put it on hold to take my order. Took my order, while he was still on the call talking about family drama. Not a very good presentation, at a place where you're serving people. Then, I couldn't even relax on the couch with my coffee in my book, cuz he said to put the TV on, loud volume, without my permission. I asked him kindly to turn the volume down, and he blatantly ignored me. When other customers came in, he was not onHis phone, and was more accommodating to them. This place definitely lost my business
