The Tarot Cafe

This place is a gem, an absolute Watertown treasure! My cold lavender lemonade was so refreshing the last time I was there. The vibe is so chill, ambiance is beautiful! I stop here whenever I am in town. I love this place.

Amazing cafe, amazing owner, fun atmosphere. Lovers Potion tea is excellent. Reminds me of the cafes back home in Korea.

I was forced into this town. My first impressions didn’t match my expectations so I decided I would look deeper...I was so excited to find a few cute shops, some art and other interesting places. This was my first stop on my tour. My first impression was that it was warm—some weird energy. He greeted me warmly and then blam “no shoes”. —it’s state law he said. It isn’t I retorted, but he interrupted me stating I had 5 seconds to leave or he was calling the cops and began counting down. I tried to explain I just wanted to see the place and he kept threatening me. His energy was fierce and dark...followed me out the door. Be careful!! Going to do some protection work. There were two other customers so it was over the top and intentional...
---TO respond, I don't have 2 accounts. I don't serve in the armed forces...and you response is typical of my expectations of the NE. Sorta why I left. I know---I know....Judge (or not) individuals on a case-by-case basis. Sorry it took so long to respond...but getting settled.. It's hard to find your way in a new town, especially when you don't really want to be there and life is sort of crazy. Sorry you had to act the way you did and not confess to your treatment of me and instead laid all your BS at my feet. You made a quick judgement of me and proceeded to treat me as such. I barely had time to get a sentence out before you announced your countdown. It wasn't that I wasn't trying to respond, under stress my ataxia from my stroke doesn't allow me to form words. It wasn't that I didn't want to get shoes (as I was saying) --it was that I didn't have them/don't wear them. The health department doesn't GAF what I have on my feet. Look it up, they don't care. But I get it, some want people to wear shoes....I support you. I don't randomly write scathing reviews unless I find it necessary or the treatment--attitude was beyond and over the top. I get it. Be you, I was just giving a shout out. It is what Google review is for. I have appreciated it on my travels and such. Love when I am warned away from somewhere or given a heads up on parking, outlets, the friendly people (or lack thereof)... Enjoy. I am sure I won't pop in for a quick one or a settle down. I have accepted that people up here are not really into cool coffee shops. If someone knows one--Let me know!!!

Seth has made this Cafe a most warm and welcoming location. I am always greeted with a smile and a warm greeting. The Lovers potion is by far my favorite drink on his menu. His milk teas are amazing. Everything he does for the "non-traditional" religions is amazing. He provides a melting pot of traditions and religions. Seth Keep up all of the hard work you do. We love your shop and You.

I love coming here, the people who work the counter are always excellent and friendly. I come here often to try their tea and I'm always curious about what they'll be serving for the monthly and seasonal teas. 10/10 recommend. Even if you don't like tea come for the vibes. ✨

Seth & Sexton are Amazing! The Tarot Cafe is a magical place that you will find friendly and fun. Everything they make is unique and delicious! The ingredients they use are organic and fair-trade. They are very talented entertainers and host a variety of classes and events. I love this cozy cafe and everything about it!

The vibe here is always so welcoming and warm. It’s easy to strike up conversations with the owner and other customers. I have LOVED every single drink I’ve tried there and so have my kids. You can tell how much care he puts into each thing on the menu. I’ve been spoiled for chain store coffee shops forever!

A charming and welcoming cafe with absolutely delicious fare. If you go once, you'll want to keep going back for sure. Saw some other comment on here from someone who got angry about having to keep their shoes on in the store. I think everyone (besides that person) can agree that we want our restaurants, cafes, etc. to not be in violation of health code. Definitely ignore that dissenter or else you'll miss out on a great experience with caring employees and unique tasty beverages!
