The owner, Katie is an amazing human who cares about the local community. Character has some really unique specialty drinks on the menu that are a testiment to Katie's creativity. Definitely worth a visit if you're passing by Utica on the NYS Thruway and need a pick-me-up!

Delicious top grade espresso minutes away from I-90 and the Southern Adirondacks. Macchiato had nicely balanced acidity, with distinct but subtle flavor. Cappuccino was great, too. Friendly people, spacious interior with cozy seating. Definitely with a stop. Will visit again.

Their latte tasted like warm tomato juice. 1/10 do not recommend. Homemade coffee is cheaper. Heck, even Starbucks is cheaper.

This coffee shop is such a great place!! The atmosphere is classy and welcoming. Their coffee is amazing. I've never been disappointed. Friendly staff and helpful if you have questions. 10 out of 10 would recommend if you're in Utica!

Excellent!!! So I was just passing through town to do lunch with my daughter and decided to give this place a shot for my esspresso fix. I'm really picky and my family is always "laughing" or eye rolling (pffftt) because of this. They are tired of hearing me talk about why I want to find the right place... trying many for my fix. For those others that are, or may be labeled as "coffee snobs" just because you avoid places like Starbucks because you know the value of the flavor of a proper shot... well this place is great. And... not just because the drink taste great. The lady that helped me was amazing as well with her service which goes a long way with me. Thank you! She even convinced me to try this what I originally thought was this weird blueberry contraption... well it was awesome so thank you for getting me past my comfort level. I will definitely add this place as a must stop when traveling through again.

Best place to get a coffee, 🔥😍

This was one of the worst coffees I've had. There seems to be a huge problem with the bees here, the service was slow, and they got my order wrong. I dont understand why it is rated so high...
