The original owners started something great and have since passed it on to new hands- who are making it even better! The coffee and sandwich selections are delicious, and there are thoughtfully curated groceries perfect for packing a picnic or stocking a pantry for the weekend (or longer!).

Excellent prepared foods and coffees. Highly recommend the pastrami sandwich, chicken sandwich, and poke bowl. Owners and staff are all very friendly and helpful.

Stumptown coffee, canned octopus and tiger balm all in one place? We like it. Also we had the avocado toast with onion jelly and ham. It was great.

UPDATE: It's Oct 2022 and Tiv Gen is under new management and has only gotten better! Breakfast sammies and espresso drinks are coming at you in glorious fashion. The grocery selection has pared down quite a bit but it's for the best.

Nice things in the coolers, local baked goods, I think some sandwiches, although they were closing and didn’t have much left when we were there. I think we shared a bagel & cream cheese.
