Basement of the all-faiths chapel in the middle of campus. $2.50 for tea & bagel. Padded pews outside shop or eat in a quiet reading room nearby if repurposing religious space doesn't bother you. Mine wasn't the only laptop.
This place is great. I am friends with them on snapchat and I get to see their family-friendly shenanigans from the comfort of my home. also my best friend Conor sometimes makes guest appearances which really makes my day. as for the food, drinks, service, or atmosphere, I really can't say. five stars!
I really like the feel of this place. It's really convenient and the staff are very friendly. The prices are extremely reasonable and everything is fair trade which is awesome. The food and coffee is also really good. Their chocolate almond croissant is my favorite.
Everyone working there is so friendly! They have healthy options, as well as amazing prices that no other cafe on campus has. I highly recommend the iced hazelnut coffee with almond milk.
This is the place to get coffee on campus: it's student run, and not for-profit! The staff always brings a smile to my mornings. And you can't argue with the discounted baked goods from the "day-old" pile, and big discount if you bring your own mug!
By far the best place to get coffee on the Syracuse University campus. It's on the bottom floor of Hendricks Chapel. They serve awesome flavored coffees, cool drinks from their secret menu, and baked goods from a local bakery. Cant't beat the prices if you are on the quad and looking for a caffeine fix.
I founded People's Place 50 years ago and was there today as they are filming for a 50 year celebration. The prices have gone up a bit in 50 years, but the welcoming atmosphere hasn't changed a bit.

Great, cheap coffee at a convenience place on campus. The people are friendly and efficient. Daily menu keeps things exciting!

I can't vouche for their sandwiches because I haven't tried them, but they have the best pastries and cookies I've ever had.
