I don’t think any words that I write will do this place justice. Yen and the Cake Bar team are always delivering unique flavor combinations through moist cakes, tarts with *the* best crust recipe, creamy milk teas (Hojicha milk tea with oat milk, thank me later), and gorgeous custom cake orders that are as creative as they are delicious. The staff are as warm and welcoming as they are helpful, making for a consistent and wonderful visit every time. My husband just surprised me with a champagne flavored birthday cake with Vietnamese buttercream (think tangy and not too sweet) and it was better than what I used to get growing up in Seattle! What I love is that while everything can be sweet, it’s not overwhelming and overpowering the flavors of the actual treat. Cake Bar even offers pizza cupcakes once in awhile if you’re looking for an adventurous dessert spot! We are there or ordering for pick up online weekly because we never want to miss Cake Bars frequent rotation of fresh and fun drink and dessert offerings. Best Bakery in Syracuse New York! I been coming to this bakery since it opened and it always surprised me. I like the creativity and the taste of the goods. I see that some people have posted about the cake and cupcakes being dry, but honestly I love it. However, every one has their own opinion which I respect; but lets be more supportive of this small business. Also the baker is so friendly and creative. I hope that the business continue to grow and stay in business for a long time. We need it!

P.S - my favorite thing is the chocolate chip cookies. If you ever stop by, please try them.

There isn't anything quite like this place in Syracuse. Everything is so delicious, and so creative. They make beautiful custom cakes, too. The one I got for my mother's birthday was gorgeous, and so tasty! Highly recommended!

Very small overpriced cupcakes. I'm a Big City girl and this place is a No Thank You. The cupcakes lacked flavor. No bang or pow flavor just a very subtle taste. Cake was dry. Very dry. No moisture. No butter taste. Crumbles away. Frosting was light and flavorless. I expected it to taste like strawberry cream but it taste like clouds. Very pretty cupcakes but I will not be back to eat more. There are bakeshops in Syracuse that are excellent to not have to return here. Provisions is wonderful

Light yet very filling cake and lavender milk tea!

BEST CAKE I'VE HAD IN YEARS. We recently bought two slices of cake (lotus cake and a chocolate strawberry) and both were delicious. I'm a baker and love cake and they were outstanding. It's run by a young woman from Vietnam whose mother rather a bakery there - clearly the talent was inherited. I've been dreaming of those cakes slices ever since. Do yourself a favor and try it out for yourself.

I ordered 2 brown sugar bobas and this what I received. 2 different drinks. This is the second time I ordered from them and I received wrong order.

My first time at Cake Bar and had by far the most flavorful taro milk bubble tea I've ever had 💜🧋 was dying to try the candy cane cheesecake but was too full. Next time I'll have to get dessert first and dinner after!

Love Cake Bar! Everything I've had here has been super tasty, especially the s'mores cake. I also love the milk tea. The Hokkaido was particularly tasty. Check out out!

Poor customer service, the workers do not know nothing about the pre order time ( I went there asked for a design cake they said will take 3-5 days just pick and lets us know the next day when I picked and show them the design they said sorry we are fully booked till next week) so if you need a cake from them maybe you have to order before 2-3 months its feels like a doctor appointment.

I expect a bad response from you with this bad customer service you deserves lower than one star also just to keep the customers know about the part that you said I didn’t left any information about the order that I WAS THERE THE NIGHT BEFORE YOU CLOSE AND I TEXT YOU THE NEXT MORNING I DO NOT THINK YOU FULLY BOOKED OVERNIGHT WITHIN 12 HOURS.
You have to know how to respond to a customers if you need them to come back to your store if you will be the last bakery in town I will rather to celebrate without a cake than order from you.
