Timberline Cafe & Bakery

My wife and I live a half hour away and we try to frequent Timberline whenever we venture into Speculator. Their homemade food is delicious... In fact I can't recall ever having a bad meal here. The owners are polite and welcoming and the atmosphere is what I'd imagine a rustic cafe to be, cozy and personal. If you are in the area you must stop by for lunch, or at the very least a treat from the bakery!

The food was excellent. And they have an extensive selection of drinks, including Vietnamese iced coffee, which was delicious. The sandwiches we had were all excellent. I am giving this five stars thinking in terms of what I would expect from a place in a major city like NYC or Chicago, and not just here in ADK.

Excellent little cafe. Our favorite spot to stop for lunch when we're driving through the Adirondacks. A good variety of sandwiches and breakfast items. As well as a bakery case with some standard favorites like brownies and muffins. Everything is delicious!

Ate brunch/lunch here multiple times during our vacation on Lake Pleasant. Good breakfast and lunch menus with some healthy choices, good coffee drinks, friendly staff.

Good coffees and nice selection of menu items. Lower score was due to the unfriendly window saleswoman and her rushing us to get our orders even tho there wasnt anyone else in line that afternoon. Needs some training in customer service and an attitude adjustment.

Nice coffee shop. Great coffee and we got a quite tasty sconce.
Looks like it's frequented by both locals and visitors alike.
They also serve some sandwiches and breakfast, but we have not tried the food.
One of the attractions is free WiFi too.

This place is awesome. The staff is super nice and friendly and it’s a very nice environment. The food is not expensive, high quality and tastes aamazing. They have a huge drink selection ranging from different juices to specialty espressos.

The food was pretty good. But the customer service was just weird. They seated a party that arrived after us before us forcing us to sit outside in the sun. And the staff didn't respond well to a member of my party sending the food back.

Went with a family of 7. Very friendly staff. Food wasn't the best but it didn't take long to get. My Reuben was great but also overpriced.
Limited seating inside and none inside for a group larger than 4.
We made the mistake if going at what must have been a prime time but there was only one okay getting drinks for around 30 people. Felt bad for her but she started friendly the whole time.

Great place for breakfast and lunch sandwiches, coffee and pastries and delicious! Cute cafe!
