Great sandwiches. Really good pancakes and french toast

My friend and I stopped by there for lunch today. The girls were nice enough, but the sandwiches were definitely not worth $10.50 each. I had the Reuben and he had some roast
beef something or other. They were more like $5 sandwiches I would make at home. They skimped on the meat pretty badly. To top it off, we both had repeated bathroom trips when we returned to our homes. I don't think we'll be returning anytime soon. Sorry, but you lose. 👎

I never got a chance to eat there. I went for lunch, stood at the kitchen window with the sign Order Here for several minutes, while two surly looking people were moving about in there making sandwiches, completely ignoring me. So I walked out. I believe a couple behind me who first went to the small indoor seating area to the right for a while, were ignored there, then came and waited behind me for a while, I saw them leaving behind me.

My absolute favorite sandwich shop. Our whole family loves it. We stop twice a year on our way to and home from Lake Placid. Service is friendly sandwiches and baked goods can't be beat. I wish I lived closer.

On the way to Lake Placid, we take the long way just so we can stop here. The food is great. The view is amazing. Friendly staff. It's worth going out of your way for! Next time you are in the area, and are craving some good breakfast, make sure to stop at Timberline!

Very good food! Great small diner for breakfast that's close to Oak Mountain. Highly recommend the cinnamon buns, easily can serve 2 people. Friendly service with cooks and waitresses as well!

Stopped here for lunch. The woman, who I believe is the owner, was so nice and welcoming. Purchased some freshly made cinnamon buns for dessert later. They also serve Seattle’s Best Coffee. I highly recommend for breakfast or lunch.

Stopped on our way through Speculator. Staff was very friendly and even offered our dog a giant water bowl. Sandwiches were great. Grabbed some coffee to go which was excellent as well. A nice stop in a quaint little town.

Great fresh food all prepared on site. Enjoyed an open face meatloaf sandwich (The Mountain View) that had incredibly complex and delicious flavors. Must visit
