Good chocolate, but even higher prices. Prepare to pay roughly ten bucks for a bar smaller than most.

Beautiful shop and amazingly well crafted chocolate. The shop owners were very friendly and we got a surprise treat! Can't beat that 🙂

Excellent selection, offering samples of each variety! Probably the most delicious chocolate I've ever tasted!
Expensive? I prefer to say well worth the price. These are locally made specialty chocolates. This ain't Hershey, kids!

I would say that this place is worth a stop. I'm not from the area, but if i were i could not be a regular here (i don't think my wallet or my waist would survive), but this is not "candy shop" chocolate either. This is an artisan place, with handcrafted selections. The chocolates are unique, not only from any other store, but also from the one right next to each other in the display. When sampling, you may find yourself saying "wow, i didn't expect that".

They have the best chocolate. Staff super friendly and helpful. A little out of the way but well worth the journey.

As a lover of quality dark chocolate, I was impressed! I splurged on a couple different bars, in the 74-75% range, after tasting several in the Woodstock store. Prior to this tasting experience I underestimated the differences in flavor attributable to bean source. I'll be back to sample and buy more on my next visit to Woodstock.

My husband and I celebrating my 40th!!! birthday with our first trip to the Woodstock area, and when we drove by Fruition we were both like “WOAHHHHHHHH did you see that?!?!”.
Fruition is one of my favorite chocolate companies and we were so excited to stop by and see the factory and pick up a good selection of items we haven’t tried yet!
We live in NYC and first tried their bars a few years ago at the Meadow, and were instantly impressed with the commitment to quality and ethical practices. They pay attention to every little detail, and it shows.
For those commenting on the price, keep in mind most mass produced chocolate is still sourced with questionable and exploitative labor practices (yes, that includes slave labor in 2021). The cost reflected here is that they pay cocoa farmers fair prices for high quality cocoa beans, and they don’t add additives. The result is global award winning chocolate that is meant to be savored.
You can literally taste the difference.
