Storied Coffee & Milk Teas

My husband and I went on a long walk and decided to stop in and get a coffee. We have always loved the coffee and treats they serve. My husband ordered a cold brew and asked for less ice, which he has done for years. He doesn't love ice in his drinks and the ice tends to bother his teeth. Since we were on a walk and it would melt fast, he also didn't want it to water down his coffee. When the coffee was made, the owner asked us, "Is asking for less ice your way of asking for more drink?" With intention, the drink was filled to around an inch down from the top of the cup. I was surprised with the bluntness and explained why he orders less ice. We want to support local businesses, but felt as though we were being accused of trying to cheat them. We will not be back and will walk one block down to Dunkin where he orders less ice all the time without issue.

Rich and crew make a bangin latte. The cinnamon roll was out of this world. And the everything bagel was perfect.

I can say maybe we just went on a bad day. But honestly I did not have a good experience yesterday. The cinnamon bun was delicious and that was the best part of my visit. However my coffee was cold when we got home; I only live around the corner from the shop. Also my husband's coffee tasted really weird, it did not taste freshly made. Which is super odd, because she made it in front of us, but she may have used a pre-made espresso. The breakfast sandwich was definitely not what I expected. I personally don't like things mixed into my eggs, so I was not expecting to find hamburger, peppers and onions inside the egg. If I had known that is how it was going to come I definitely would not have ordered it. This was definitely not worth the $30 that I paid for everything.

Win, win, win, win, win!!! Delicious coffee and food, great people, local business, supporting local artists! Smiles all around. :)

This is a very nice establishment with highly attentive staff. They make artisanal coffee and tea beverages. So even if your order is seemingly simple, it will take alot longer here than at Dunkin or Starbucks. But the wait is worth it.

Storied coffee is the cutest little place. The inside seems so welcoming, the workers are friendly, and they have the most delicious pastries and drinks. They serve boba, regular teas, coffee, and lots of baked goods, too. Would definitely go again!

The best place in the area for lattes and cappuccinos. Also, cinnamon buns. They also have great tea, bubble tea, and iced coffee options.

Weird experience here recently..

I love this place so much! Usually I always have great experiences here. However I did go in recently and was greeted very weirdly..
I walked in and waited just a minute for someone else in line in front of me, and I walked up to the counter once it was my turn and said “Hi!”. I got a short hi back from the girl standing at the register.. she seemed like she was in the middle of something so I was going to wait a second to order, but then she goes “Can I help you…?” In a kind of snarky tone.
Im a young adult and personally work at a cafe local to the Schenectady area and I know that people have off days and I try not to be critical of people, but it just was not something I expected based off of my past experiences here.
Still 4 stars because I love the cafe itself and all of the products that you offer, i have never had a bad experience with that in the slightest!

For anyone who appreciates good coffee, this is the place. They care about their coffee and tea and it shows. All of the drinks I’ve had (and I’ve had quite a few) were high quality and at a good price! Come for bubble tea or coffee or pastries or the people, and you won’t be disappointed. Their extensive menu includes many tea and coffee options, including an especially intriguing kombucha/espresso combination. Surprisingly it tasted delicious. Storied is a cafe full of quality drinks and quality people who remember your name! Absolutely 5/5.

The people were super nice and the food delicious! I dropped my coffee in the parking lot 😔, so I don't know the quality of their coffee. We got day old cinnamon rolls though and they were amazing. I have to go back and try a fresh one. So good!!
