Blue Moon Café ADK

It was very busy, but the staff was excellent in keeping people coming and going with wait times for food being minimal. The food was, as always, excellent. We visit Blue Moon Cafe every other Saturday for brunch and will continue to do so.

Small café, honest good food! We stopped while traveling back home and we are glad we did. The roasted peppers soup was the best I ever had. The coffee and tea are self served - amazing.

Breakfast was so amazing. I love that coffee was self serve and they had a variety of coffee options. Plus the portions were the perfect size!

We had breakfast, then dinner, then breakfast the next day and it was all great. Good coffee, perfect eggs and bacon, delicious homemade English muffins, excellent beer selection and really good New Orleans themed dinner choices--had we stayed another day we would have eaten there a few more times. Plus they played zydeco music!

Spent two days in Saranac lake for a visit, and this restaurant was definitely recommended. Delicious food and great service, would visit again if had chance.

Excellent place for breakfast! I love the self serve coffee with variety of flavors. Excellent bloody Mary and eggs Benedict. A must stop here!

Cool spot, great open deck

Horrible service. We sat in the back of the restaurant. The middle aged dark hair waitress passed by us several times but ignored us. We sat for like 10 min without even a glass of water. Meanwhile a party of 7-8 people sat down next to us and their waitress (not ours) immediately brought ice water to them. Our waitress finally came with a stern face. We requested water. It was a simple request but she refused. She told us in a cold voice that she would only bring our water after we ordered our food. Her refusal was odd given that the next table (all Caucasians) got their water right away. We were not happy but proceeded with ordering and tried not to cause any stir. However the final straw came when my wife saw her looked very annoyed at us after taking orders. We got up and left in disgust.

Ordered the baby spinach salad for takeout. Delicate and delicious greens and the salad was perfectly dressed. They were quite busy, but I received my order in a very timely manner.

The food was beyond delicious! Couldn’t think of a better way to end a backpacking trip then to stop in for an amazing meal with such friendly people. Definitely exceeded our expectations!
