It’s not easy to find a local coffee shop that has it all: great coffee, tasty food, and an enjoyable atmosphere but Sips has all three. Stopped over for lunch and really enjoyed their Cesar wrap and iced tea. After lunch, I got a holiday special iced coffee to go and I was very impressed by how tasty it was. They have lots of coffee and food options so I’m excited to go back and try more!

This place is one of the best local cafes for coffee, teas, and the likes.

The reason I can't say it's 5 stars is the food can be hit or miss at times. I have gotten my order wrong a couple of times but also had amazing food others.

I would recommend this to anyone and you will enjoy the experience you have at Sips!

Love this place. Amazing top notch coffee and amazing customer service. I moved out of the area and still make the trip with my husband almost every weekend to get our Sips fix. If you haven't tried their coffee/ baked goods I highly recommend that you do! You won't be disappointed.

Hidden gem. Quaint & love the ambiance. Best coffee house in Rochester! The owner is a super hard worker & does a great job running the place.

Stopped in for a quick lunch with my girlfriend. I ordered the Caesar wrap on wheat. It was delicious. If you’re looking for a panini or wrap as a quick lunch stop in and give this hidden gem a try. While not immediately visible from Pattonwood drive, it’s easy to see once you’re in the Herrema’s parking lot. The list of coffee smoothies and frappes was quite well thought out. Their flavor profile on their sandwiches is great. I didn’t get a coffee this time around and was surprised to see they offer college club soda. Fantastic local soda for those who have never heard of it. All in all great staff who were friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back!

I've been going to Sips for over three years now pretty routinely.

Starting off with the good: friendly staff, nice atmosphere, plenty of seating (except when it gets really busy), great music (mostly jazz) and clean establishment. The food variety is limited but it has generally been enough as long as you don't go daily and even it’s more than most coffee shops provide.

My current complaint is that they tend to run out of bagels really early in the day. Sometimes they'll be gone a few hours after opening and other times there will still be a bagel or two at 1 PM. Since my schedule is constantly changing, I miss out on their delicious bagels about half the time.

I've amended the review because I think they really got their QC and consistency down, which makes this one of the best little coffee shops in Rochester. Every once in a while there is still a fluke, but in general I think it's a solid place and the cost is justified.

Sips is hands down my favorite coffee shop. I've been to coffee shops all over the Fingerlakes and Rochester area. At Sips, each cup is made especially for you. If you're a regular they want to get to know you and make you part of the Sips family. Such a warm, friendly, inviting environment. My favorite is the chocolate chai. Hot, iced, or frozen!
