I’ve been a regular since they opened their old
location on University, but stopped going as frequently after I had my kids and the space morphed more into a dinner/bar scene. Now with their re-focus on coffee, I feel comfortable taking the little ones again! Love their casual new space where you can watch them roasting and feel comfortable hanging out as long as you’d like. And of course the coffee is, as always, the best in town.

Went to the soft open. Its a great space and I look forward to drinking coffee here.

Great coffee and espresso! The pour over and cold brew are excellent. It's a local favorite and one of the first artisan coffee shops in Rochester. They've recently expanded (Sept-Oct 2016) so there is more seating space for customers. A must try for anyone visiting the area that likes coffee and a great place to make your regular spot if you live in the area.

Joe Bean is my favorite coffee spot. The staff are friendly, attentive, and always courteous. The food is inventive, reasonably priced, and always delicious. And the coffee, well, they're pretty much responsible for the entire third wave coffee revolution in town. And for that, I am eternally grateful.

I've transitioned from expecting a "burnt bean" taste, from corporate coffee shops, to discovering a bouquet of flavors from the many different beans Joe Bean’s roasts and showcases. They truly are an innovative eatery and I always look forward to trying dishes from their ever changing, seasonally based menu and delicious coffee.

Went to Joe Beans last night around 930. Not much of a coffee drinker, but definitely enjoy a cup here and there. The man working was super informative and went through all the different variations with us in detail. I was super impressed, and he nailed the explanation. For me, it was like listening to Darwin explain his theory on evolution, very mesmerizing! I ended up with a latte and my girlfriend a cappuccino. The flavor was excellent. Highly recommend giving this little coffee shop your business. You will not be let down.
