Good coffee, cool vibes. The art on display is consistently excellent.

This is my favorite coffeeshop in Rochester. Here's why:

• Fuego has the best drip coffee and the best espresso drinks. No one in Rochester makes a better cortado. Their roasts are complex and fascinating.
• Fuego has the best environment. The windows are tall and let in plenty of refreshing light. It doesn't have that polygon robot barn look of a lot of contemporary coffee shops. It's not as cramped as some other coffeeshops in Rochester, but it's also not a sprawling mess like some others. The artwork also isn't awkwardly bad. It's a good space both to get work done and have a conversation.
• The music selection is great for writing — often it's abstract electronica in the mode of Boards of Canada, though I did hear Jenny Lewis blasting one early morning, which totally worked too.

The only major downside is that there's no free parking that I know of, but that doesn't stop me from coming back.

Used to love Fuego back at Liberty Pole Way! Sadly have not been to Fuego since pre-COVID days, but I do miss the ambience. Was always able to feel at peace bringing a book along & winding down with a richly well-crafted chemex, or perhaps a soy latte. Definitely due for a visit soon.

First time coming to this place and I have to say I loved it! The barista was quick and our drinks were delicious. My wife got the chai tea latte and I got a cinnamon chipotle mocha. We would recommend either. The mocha was smooth and the cinnamon chipotle spices were present but not overbearing. The chai was well made and on the sweeter side. Atmosphere was bright and cheery. Music was a bit loud but not terrible. Seating was plentiful. We were there to chat with friends which we could do with no problem. There was also plenty of tables and areas for laptops and tablets. We will be coming back.

Best coffee in Rochester. Really delicious espresso. Get a latte and a pastry, stay and drink it out of porcelain and read a magazine. Just doesn’t taste quite the same out of paper.

Out of state order. Wanted to try their roast options for a while. When I finally placed and order, they decided among themselves to replace an item I selected without contacting me to authorize or ask if I wanted money back. Have reached out via multiple online platforms with zero response to correct the issue. Will not be buying from these people again. They have lost a customer. Aside for the lack of customer service, their coffee is actually good.

To me, the coffee bean itself wasn't anything special, but a cappuccino and a latte i got were both done very nicely. Good vibes, outstanding pastries.

Good coffee, 15 minute walk from where I was staying, and they let dogs in! I was hoping they'd have some sort of food option, but YNt case was empty. :( Did not go back because of that. If I'm going to get dressed and walk 15 mins to get coffee, there needs to be food too.

Great offerings on the Kalita. Also has a matcha latte. Very nice strong Cappuccino with the appropriate foam to milk ratio. The Colombian coffee has darker tasting notes than most Colombians that I am used to, was great brewed on the Kalita for my morning cup.
