Taste Budd's Cafe

What a gem this place is! When walking up to the shop, I was captivated by the beautiful garden, trellis, and patio. The interior is spacious with a guitar theme on one wall and local eclectic art everywhere else. There are so many treats to choose from- New York cheesecake, macaroons, muffins, cookies, scones, fudge. All looks professionally made and delicious. I went with the magic cookie bar and it did not disappoint! I’m from Colorado and always visit this coffee shop when visiting family in upstate New York. It’s quaint, friendly, make you feel right at home.

As someone that works virtually I enjoy visiting different cafes and coffee shops around the country.
This little privately owned cafe in the small quaint village of Redhook New York has become a second home.
The atmosphere is comfy and inviting, the staff friendly and courteous.
The coffee is free trade and the treats…well, you’ll have to find out for yourself.
My Personal favorite is the vegan nut bar, It almost sounds healthy even though it taste anything but.
And if you are someone who works virtually I encourage you to stop and have a coffee and grab a table and stay a while
5 stars only because that’s the highest I can go on here

Perfect place for a good cup of coffee and a nice breakfast Burrito. You can enjoy it indoors in their cozy dining room or out on the patio either way what a lovely location.

This place is super cute! The foods not bad, and there is a lot of options. It’s a great place to plus in your laptop and get some work done!

I really loved their fudge and chocolate options and it is why I’m giving it 4 stars!

Great food! On the pricier side. Hit or miss on customer service, for the most part decent. Love the Salty Dog Latte, Chicken Nuggets and the Mac and Cheese

The Chocolates! The Chocolate Cookies! I received a birthday package from my mom filled with cookies, chocolates, coffee, and other bakery items. What a tasty gift. My cousin Danny Budd is a master at what he does. Highly recommend anybody to stop in when they're in town, but even better - order from afar! The gift comes nicely packaged, and you'll finish everything in the basket before it has time to go stale (grin). I'd give more than five stars if I could...

This was one of the most eclectic food shops we've been in. They had everything you could want for a snack or meal!!! The bakery options were scrumptious. And you could eat in or take out. Prices were reasonable for the area.

They have tasty sandwiches and baked goods. Online ordering and pickup run smoothly, and orders are usually ready within 20 minutes. I usually don't have problems with my orders, but most recently my bagel wasn't toasted as requested. Dan got back to me with an apology and a discount for my next order. P.S. The Ener-chi cookies are FIRE!

Dumbo Bklyn vibes. Service is great, extensive but manageable menu choices and really great desserts and handmade chocolates. Their drink choices are always terrific, particularly recommend the London Fog or the Mexican Hot Chocolate (it has a little spicy kick that brings out the chocolate flavor). We are lucky to have such a great neighborhood coffee place in Red Hook, NY (Dutchess county NY, not Red Hook Bklyn)

Terrible Tuna Melt. Borderline food poisoning/headache/nausea aftermath. The bread was soggy too. Coffee was decent though. LOL. I'll survive but will avoid in T Budd's in the future.
UPDATE!
After speaking with Taste Budd’s owner Dan, we agreed that my experience was unfortunate at best. He vowed to look into what happened with my sandwich and I implied I’d be willing to give the Cafe another try. Given his response I am changing my rating to 3 stars.
