Cool Beans

Always a favorite stop when we are up from a visit! Great bagels, awesome breakfast sandwiches and always a fun variety of coffees! Staff is always so welcoming and friendly. A true hometown pleasure! Wish we had Cool Beans in Florida!

There was 1 woman working alone. We called ahead to order and when I got there to pick it up she was rude, she said that she told me it was going to be 20 mins (which I had waited more than 20 mins to go pick up the order) and she was just starting my order. She wasn't even going to acknowledge I was there but when she looked up I told her I was there to pick up an order. She went on to complain to another patron that there were "so many orders to go" and she didn't know why ?
There was only his order and a party of 2 that were already sitting when I got there.
Just not a pleasant experience.

Went to cool beans on S western Ave in glens falls on New Year’s Day. Lady was very rude. The minute you walk in “do you know what you want?” Like she was in a hurry to get us out. Not one person there when we walked in so it wasn’t busy. Ask for everything bagel and instead of nicely saying “sorry we are out” she rudely tells me that we should check the selection again. Sorry that’s not good customer service and we won’t be going back there.

Their bagels and sandwiches are awesome, service was fast and nice atmosphere. Good variety options.

Small and cozy place. I had a Ice Vanilla Latte which was pretty good. Service was freindly. Does not take credit cards. Cash only.

The young lady was complaining about her job (because she had to run the cafe alone, ‘per usual’) for the entire 10 mins I waited for the overpriced ($6), sub-par latte overpowered by syrup added. Need to work on adding specific amounts of syrups to drinks for flavor consistency. I most likely won’t be returning.

Cool Beans… where the food is good… if they have it. Usually the first 3 things you try to order, they are out of 1 or more ingredients. When you finally agree to a sandwich (or breakfast) without one of the ingredients because you’re hungry, it rings up higher than you expect. Why? Because they can’t be bothered to change their signs. Sandwiches that show $7.99 are actually $8.99. It’s not that it’s not worth $8.99, it’s that it’s deceiving to have it listed as one price and then charge you another. The kid at the register can’t give you the posted price - just apologizes.
And it’s not just at the S. Western Ave store where I was today. It was like that every time I was in the SGF shop for months! Give me a chalk marker and a chair. I’ll fix it for you. Just wish the owners cared.

Enjoyed the food. Cash only, but there is an ATM. Coffee is pretty good. Foglifter brew is just right!

Guy at the register was friendly and made a great smoothie and sandwich. My coffee really like drinking a milk tho— no coffee to speak of. Will try them another time but hopefully I’ll get a better latte

We had to turn around and walk out of the SGF location before even receiving our food this morning because the conditions were so unsanitary. The woman who took our order was rude and was also coughing uncontrollably all over the space, which we tolerated. The person initially making our sandwiches was polite and wearing gloves - no issues with them. We walked out when the woman who had been coughing, and had not exited to wash her hands, cut one of our finished sandwiches with her bare hands. I was shocked.
